On the morning of January 1, 51,000 people gathered in Tian'anmen Square to watch this year’s first national flag rising ceremony in Beijing.
1月1日早上7时许，日出东方，晨光熹微，新年的第一缕阳光洒向神州大地。天安门广场上，5.1万名市民游客，目光灼灼，满怀希望与憧憬，共同见证天安门地区2025年第一面五星红旗冉冉升起。
1-11月北京规模以上工业企业营业收入
同比增长6.8%
According to data released by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics, from January to November, 2024, industrial enterprises above designated size in Beijing achieved a revenue of 2.64 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%. The total profit of these enterprises reached 171.05 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10%.
据北京市统计局消息，1-11月，全市规模以上工业企业实现营业收入26431.4亿元，同比增长6.8%；实现利润总额1710.5亿元，同比增长10.0%。

Beijing's Sub-center has deepened the integration of green and intelligent digital infrastructure. In 2024, 856 new 5G base stations were built to achieve full coverage in the area. Deep coverage of 5G signal was also reached in key areas such as Universal Beijing Resort and Beijing Friendship Hospital in Tongzhou District.

首届北展新年购物节1月15日开启
The 1st Beizhan New Year Shopping Festival will be held in Beijing from Jan 15 to 25, attracting over 1000 exhibitors and offering a "one-stop-shop" for Chinese New Year goods. It features agricultural products from Xinjiang, Hebei, Shanxi, Tianjin, Inner Mongolia, Xizang, Fujian and other provinces as well as items from Russia, South Africa and other countries.
位于北京展览馆的首届北展新年购物节将于1月15日启动，至1月25日结束，共计11天。首届北展新年购物节将为市民打造一个“一站式”年货采购平台，将吸引超过千家展商集中亮相。本次购物节品类最多的就是特色农产品，将集齐来自新疆、河北、山西、天津、内蒙古、西藏、福建等省份以及俄罗斯、南非等国家的农特产品。
首钢园再添一处新地标
6个筒仓顶部将复建观景及配套服务设施
Renovation of coal warehouses in Beijing’s Shougang Park recently began, aiming to preserve and renovate six existing silos. The sightseeing center will be built on top of the silos. The entrance hall will be used to hold exhibitions.
首钢园将再添一处新地标。近日，首钢园区煤仓改造项目开工，将保留并改造现状6个筒仓，在筒仓顶部复建观景及配套服务设施空间，北侧结合转运站新建主入口大厅，兼顾常设展、临设展、艺术品储藏等功能。
