560余岁先农坛庆成宫首次开放
A new highlight unveiled near Beijing Central Axis. The 560-year-old Qingcheng Palace in Xiannong Altar recently opened to the public after 30 years of renovation. Qingcheng Palace is part of the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum. All the ancient buildings in Xiannong Altar are now open to the public.
申遗成功的北京中轴线再添新看点。12月21日，历时近30年腾退修缮，560余岁的先农坛庆成宫首次向观众敞开大门，成为北京古代建筑博物馆的一部分。由此，全国重点文物保护单位先农坛的最后一个古建筑群开放了。
津兴城际铁路开通运营一周年
累计发送旅客152.3万人次
The intercity railway from Tianjin to Beijing Daxing International Airport served over 1.5 million passengers in the one year it has been operating, with the highest number of passengers per day reaching 9,700. The 101 kilometers trip has 6 stations.
津兴城际铁路开通运营满一周年。一年来，津兴城际铁路已累计发送旅客152.3万人次，单日发送旅客最高达0.97万人次。据了解，津兴城际铁路起自天津西站，接入大兴机场站，线路全长101公里，全线共设天津西站、胜芳站、安次站、永清东站、固安东站和大兴机场站6座车站。
北京人才总量全国城市第一
The number of highly skilled workers in Beijing reached 8 million in 2023, ranking first in China. Talents in high-tech industries reached 2.1 million, accounting for 26.2% of the city total. The large number of highly skilled professionals has become the main driving force for Beijing's high-quality development.
日前，2024新时代人才强国论坛在中国人民大学举办。论坛发布了《北京地区人才资源统计报告（2023）》《北京人才发展报告（2024）》，2023年北京人才总量802.9万人，位居全国城市第一。2023年，北京市高精尖产业人才总量达210.6万人，占全市人才总量的26.2%.人才红利逐步取代人口红利成为北京高质量发展的主要驱动力。
北京高水平推动减污降碳协同增效
主要污染物和碳排放实现双下降
In recent years, Beijing reduced pollution and carbon emissions in key sectors such as energy, transportation, and industry. Compared with 2019, carbon emissions in 2023 were reduced by more than 6 million tons, and major air pollutant emissions were reduced by more than 30,000 tons.
近年来，北京市聚焦能源、交通、 产业等重点领域，持续推动减污降碳协同增效。目前北京市实现主要污染物和碳排放双下降，2023年与2019年相比降碳600余万吨，减少主要大气污染物排放3万余吨，生态环境质量持续改善。
今年北京共建设电动自行车
充电设施接口38.9万个
Charging services for electric bicycles in Beijing are becoming more convenient. In 2024, 389,000 new charging ports for electric bicycles were installed and charging facilities were added in 4,235 locations.
记者从北京市安全生产和消防工作专项治理行动新闻发布会上获悉，北京市持续提升电动自行车充电服务能力，2024年共建设充电设施接口38.9万个，消除充电设施空白与不足点位4235处。
品家乡味、唱两岸歌
台青与大陆同学共度冬至
A youth singing party organized by the Beijing Association of Taiwan Compatriots was held in Beijing on Dec 21. Over 500 participants, including university students from both sides of the Straits studying in Beijing, and Taiwan compatriots living in Beijing, gathered to make friends through singing.
12月21日是农历二十四节气中的冬至，以“冬至福至”为主题的“2024年喜福汇——两岸青年歌会”在京举行。受北京市台联邀请，来自北京大学、清华大学等多所高校的两岸大学生、在京台胞等500余人欢聚一堂，以歌会友，共度冬至。
