北京科幻产业总产值占全国三分之一
近三年营收平均增速达26%
The total revenue of Beijing's science fiction industry in 2023 reached 37.38 billion yuan, accounting for one-third of the national total. The science fiction industry in the city is developing rapidly, with an average growth rate of 2% in the past three years.
2023年，北京市科幻产业总营收达373.8亿元，占全国科幻产业总产值的三分之一。本市科幻产业发展跑上快车道，近三年平均增速达26%。
出京车速提升122%
京沪高速拓宽改造完工
Expansion of the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway (Fourth to Fifth Ring Roads section) has been completed. The section of the Beijing -Shanghai Expressway from the third ring road to the fifth ring road now has six lanes in both directions instead of the previous four, resulting in a 122% increase of traffic efficiency exiting Beijing.
京沪高速（四环-五环）拓宽疏堵工程近日完工。改造工程实现了京沪高速三环至五环全路段由双向4车道增加为双向6车道，出京方向车速提升122%。
中英文双语“外商投资公司登记注册办理指南”

The Guide for Registering A Foreign-Invested Company and the list of FAQs Related to Registration of Foreign-Invested Company, both available in Chinese and English, were published by Beijing’s Municipal Administration for Market Regulation to facilitate the development of foreign-invested businesses in the city. This is China's first set of Chinese-English bilingual guides for registering foreign-invested companies in the country.
12月23日，北京市市场监督管理局发布中英文双语版《外商投资公司登记注册办理指南》及其配套的《常见问题解答》，为外资企业在京投资创造更加便利友好的营商环境。据了解，这是全国首套中英文双语版的外商投资公司登记注册办理指南。
今年北京新开商业面积超150万平方米
全市商业设施布局更趋平衡
17 large-scale commercial projects opened in Beijing in 2024, with an added commercial area of over 1.5 million square meters. The layout of commercial facilities in the city is becoming more balanced.

Early this year, Beijing was awarded the title "National Forest City". By the end of 2023, the city's forest coverage rate reached 44.9%. 1065 different parks have been built in Beijing, making it a "City of Thousand Parks".

The 2025 Orchid Promotion Event will be held in Beijing from December 24, 2024, to January 5, 2025. The exhibition of 8,000 square meters is located at the Changyang Campus of Beijing Agricultural Vocational College.

朝阳首批42名街头艺人获认证
街头表演将成城市艺术新常态
Beijing's Chaoyang district is set to become the first area in the capital to officially launch street performers' licenses to further improve the culture and art environment in the city. 42 street performers, comprising 19 bands, were recently selected by professional judges to receive official performance certificates. They will start performing on New Year's Day 2025.
近期，北京市朝阳区为首批19组乐队42名“街头艺人”颁发了街头艺人演出证，成为北京市首个实施这一创意文化举措的区域。此次“街头艺人”发证后，朝阳区预计在2025年元旦起，在亮马河、THE BOX朝外、朝阳公园、奥森公园等文化氛围浓厚的区域，在规定时间、地点定期举办“街头艺人”表演，邀请持证“街头艺人”参与。

Ghaffar Pourazar was born in Iran and holds British and American citizenship. His performance won the highest award at the 1999 International Peking Opera Fans Competition. Today, over sixty years old, he still holds lectures in the United States, Europe, Australia, Asia and the Middle East teaching Peking Opera, and is affectionately known as the "Monkey King of the West".

A delegation of twelve Maldivian high school students and three teachers is visiting Beijing. During the 5-day trip, they will visit famous attractions such as the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, watch acrobatic performances and taste hot pot.

古北水镇推出新年演艺活动
On December 31, 2024, Beijing WTown, or Gubei Water Town in Miyun District, will grant visitors free admission to the scenic area. Per-registration using identification document is required. Many events will be held in the scenic area to celebrate the new year.
古北水镇景区近日宣布，12月31日景区免门票，游客凭本人身份证实名登记，即可免费进入景区。古北水镇景区准备了一系列活动和演艺项目。
