In the morning of October 25 2024, Mr. Elijah Lawrence, Chief of American Citizen Services Unit at the Consulate General of the United States of America in Guangzhou, together with another 17 staffs, visited Shekou Management and Service Center for Expats (same as "Shekou MSCE").
2024年10月25日上午，美国驻广州总领事馆美国公民服务部领事官员罗熠阳先生一行18人到访蛇口境外人员管理服务中心。
Accompanied with Rita Yang, the Director of Shekou MSCE, Mr. Lawrance and the staff visited Shekou Sub-district Service Center, Shekou Foreign Legal Assistance Center, Shekou Administration Service Center, as well as Shekou Ocean Science Center and Shekou Management and Service Center for Expats, learning the development and foreign public services in Shekou.
蛇口境外人员管理服务中心主任杨燕先后介绍了蛇口街道党群服务中心、蛇口涉外公共法律服务中心、蛇口便民服务中心、蛇口海洋科普馆和蛇口境外人员管理服务中心，让罗领事一行更直观的了解了蛇口街道的整体发展情况和各项涉外服务。
Mr. Lawrance expressed his gratitude to the Shekou foreign service platforms for their help and support to American citizens in Shenzhen, and then they discussed further cooperation about these mentions.
对于蛇口涉外服务平台给予在深美国公民的帮助和支持，罗领事表达了感谢。随后双方探讨了未来进一步的合作。
During the discussion, they discussed on topics like foreign legal consultation. Both parties paid much attention to the notarization for foreign documents, and exchanged working differences in this area.
座谈中，双方就涉外法律咨询等话题进行了交流和探讨。尤其是在涉外公证服务版块，双方就中外文书公证内容和形式的差异化进行了充分讨论。
Mr. Lawrance also introduced the consular work of the American Citizen Services Unit, and shared contact information and brochures for American citizens in Shekou. Both look forward to more sparks and cooperation between Shekou Sub-district and the American Consulate-General Guangzhou in the future!
罗领事一行对蛇口街道的涉外公共服务工作印象深刻，表示将向在深美国公民宣传蛇口境外人员管理服务中心，并期待今后与蛇口境外人员管理服务中心在各领域合作。
