Australia to end duties on Chinese stainless sinks
Kallanish（开阑商务信息咨询）获悉，澳大利亚反倾销委员会已建议澳大利亚工业、科学和资源部部长撤销对中国出口到澳大利亚的深冲不锈钢水槽征收的关税。
The Anti-Dumping Commission of Australia has recommended that the Minister of Industry, Science and Resources revokes the duties applying to deep drawn stainless steel sinks exported to Australia from China,Kallanish learns.
产品一般归入HS编码7324.10.00.52。所涵盖的货物中不包括带预制碗的不锈钢水槽。
The products are generally classified under HS code 7324.10.00.52. Stainless steel sinks with fabricated bowls are excluded from the goods covered.
基本事实陈述称：“专员不认为措施到期将导致或可能导致措施旨在防止的倾销和实质性损害继续或再次发生。”
The statement of essential facts claims that “the Commissioner is not satisfied that the expiry of the measures would lead, or be likely to lead to a continuation of, or a recurrence of, dumping and the material injury that the measures are intended to prevent.”
如果部长接受建议，终止反倾销税的决定将于2025年3月26日生效。
If the Minister accepts the recommendation, the decision to end the AD duties will take effect from 26 March 2025.
不过，在2024年6月25日及之后就倾销税通知支付临时或最终关税的进口商将有资格获得退款。
However, importers that have paid interim or final duties in relation to the dumping duty notice on and after 25 June 2024 would be eligible for a refund.
中国商务部发言人何亚东说：“中方相信，澳大利亚终止该措施有利于深化两国经贸合作，实现互利共赢。”
He Yadong, spokesman for China's Ministry of Commerce, said: "China believes that Australia's termination of the measure will be conducive to deepening economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results."
