星空联盟 Star Alliance

星空联盟（Star Alliance），成立于1997年，是第一个航空联盟。其名字和标志上星形图案的五个部分代表着五大创始航空公司：北欧航空、泰国国际航空、加拿大航空、汉莎航空、和美国联合航空。星空联盟是目前世界上最大的航空联盟，总部在德国法兰克福。
The Star Alliance , founded in 1997, was the first aviation alliance. The five parts of the name and the logo represent the five founding airlines: Scandinavian Airlines, Thai Airways International, Air Canada, Lufthansa, and United Airlines. The Star Alliance is currently the world's largest aviation alliance, headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany.
寰宇一家 One World

寰宇一家（Oneworld），成立于1999年，介于星空联盟的成立，刺激并启发了英国航空和美国航空，总部位于美国得克萨斯州沃斯堡。他们联合国泰航空、澳洲航空以及原加拿大航空，发起成立了“寰宇一家”，号称精英联盟，绝大多数成员是高端航空公司或者所在区域的霸主，仅有少数因为扩展航线的需要被邀请加入的小航空公司。
Oneworld , founded in 1999, inspired British Airways and American Airlines, and is based in Fort Worth, Texas. They united Cathay Pacific, Qantas and former Canadian Airlines, and launched the "One world", known as the elite alliance. The vast majority of its members are high-end airlines or regional champions, and only a few small airlines are invited to join because of the need to expand their routes.
天合联盟 SkyTeam
天合联盟（SkyTeam），成立于2000年，总部设在荷兰阿姆斯特丹，创始成员包括法国航空、达美航空、墨西哥国际航空和大韩航空。天合联盟成立最晚，却是发展最快的航空联盟。
Skyteam Alliance , founded in 2000 and headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has the founding members of Air France, Delta, AeroMexico and Korean Air. Skyteam Alliance was the latest, but the fastest growing aviation alliance.
