美国时尚品牌Cult Gaia,诗意地游走

设计师们总能从一切美好的事物中找寻到相关的灵感,大到壮丽的自然景色、可以俯瞰大海的悬崖、崎岖的地形,小到一朵不起眼的小花,或于某些细枝末节之中都有可能成为激发创作灵感的来源。
Designers can always find inspiration from all beautiful things, as big as the magnificent natural scenery, overlooking the sea cliff, rugged terrain, as small as a small flower, or in some small details can become a source of inspiration.


美国洛杉矶时尚品牌Cult Gaia,便是如此。它深深扎根于自然的美妙之中,强调独特的有机形状和丰富的纹理,将女性气质、自然和具有个性的建筑作为灵感来源,并将制造能引发话题的产品作为其设计的基石,设计出的配饰,既是艺术品又是产品。
Such is the case with Cult Gaia, a Los Angeles-based fashion brand. It is deeply rooted in the beauty of nature, emphasizing unique organic shapes and rich textures, using femininity, nature and architecture with personality as a source of inspiration, and making products that can trigger topics as the cornerstone of its design, designing accessories that are both works of art and products.



Cult Gaia由美国时装设计师Jasmin Larian Hekmat于2012年在洛杉矶成立。对她而言,她所设计的产品首先是一件艺术品,其次才是实用的产品,秉承着这一理念,为人们创造了一种全新的生活方式,同时带来一场新的视觉盛宴。如今的Cult Gaia,早已从一个配饰品牌发展成为了一个成熟的生活方式品牌,产品涉及成衣、礼服、鞋履、香水。

Cult Gaia was founded in Los Angeles in 2012 by American fashion designer Jasmin Larian Hekmat. For her, the products she designs are first a work of art, then a practical product, adhering to this concept, creating a new way of life for people, while bringing a new visual feast. Today, Cult Gaia has evolved from an accessories brand to a full-fledged lifestyle brand with products ranging from ready-to-wear, dresses, shoes and perfumes.

ARCHITECTURE


步入Cult Gaia位于迈阿密的新旗舰店,仿佛游走于一个充满诗意的世界,让人联想起神话中的伊甸园。这家占地面积约为1502平方英尺的零售店由Cult Gaia的品牌创始人Jasmin Larian Hekmat与Sugarhouse设计工作室共同构思。

Stepping into Cult Gaia's new flagship store in Miami is like walking through a poetic world reminiscent of the mythical Garden of Eden. The 1,502-square-foot retail space was conceived by Cult Gaia's brand founder Jasmin Larian Hekmat in conjunction with Sugarhouse design studio.

场地坐落在一个独特的A型结构中,其外观模拟了当地的小屋,以营造温暖而熟悉的氛围。定制的艺术则细节体现了Cult Gaia的品牌精神,形成了一种梦幻感和永恒感。外立面由艺术家Michael Chandler手绘的1800块蓝色瓷砖壁画所覆盖,其色调让人想到波斯清真寺,以此致敬Larian Hekmat的波斯文化传统和Henri Rousseau的著名画作《梦想》。

The site is housed in A unique A-shaped structure whose exterior mimics a local cottage to create a warm and familiar atmosphere. The custom art details embody the Cult Gaia brand spirit, forming a sense of dreaminess and timelessness. The facade is covered by 1,800 blue tile murals hand-painted by artist Michael Chandler in shades reminiscent of a Persian mosque, a nod to the Persian cultural traditions of Larian Hekmat and Henri Rousseau's famous painting Dream.

CHARACTERISTIC

店内分为三个主要区域,另外一个区域则隐藏于北端。走进店内,就被Bianco Avorio石灰石和Bianco Santa Caterina石灰华舒缓的奶油色调所围绕。干净整洁的开放式空间内,展示着品牌的服装系列,同时也让人联想起Cult Gaia的珠宝产品。
The store is divided into three main areas, with another area tucked away at the north end. When you step inside, you're surrounded by the soothing cream tones of Bianco Avorio limestone and Bianco Santa Caterina travertine. The clean, open space displays the brand's clothing collection and is reminiscent of Cult Gaia's jewelry products.



主厅的穹顶有一个七英尺宽的无框圆形天窗,可以引入自然光,照亮整个室内。“穹顶”和“天窗”的元素起源可以追溯到万神殿,即古罗马供奉众神的神庙,而这一设计符号的加入强化了该品牌的信念,即每个人都是大地女神(Cult Gaia是一个女性品牌)。 

The dome of the main hall has a frameless circular skylight seven feet wide that brings in natural light and illuminates the entire interior. The elements "dome" and "skylight" trace their origins back to the Pantheon, the ancient Roman temple dedicated to the gods, and the inclusion of this design symbol reinforces the brand's belief that everyone is an earth goddess (Cult Gaia is a female brand).


穹顶之下有一座12英尺高的混凝土雕塑,由Jasmin Larian Hekmat的母亲,即艺术家 Angela Larian制作,象征着母系社会和女性的身份和气质,同另一个维度凸显品牌的用户定位。
Under the dome is a 12-foot tall concrete sculpture, made by artist Angela Larian, Jasmin Larian Hekmat's mother, symbolizing matriarchal society and women's identity and temperament, with another dimension to highlight the brand's user orientation.


走向室内,可到达由一百块单独凿刻的砂岩块制成的中央更衣区。发光的壁龛借鉴了岩石中洞穴寺庙的设计语言,其凹位处陈列着Cult Gaia的配饰产品、包包和鞋类。
Inside, you can reach the central dressing area made of 100 individually chiseled sandstone blocks. Inspired by the design language of cave temples in the rock, the illuminated alcoves display Cult Gaia's accessories, bags and footwear.



在第二个区域内,由Brandi Howe设计的蛇形沙发位于空间的中央。一棵14英尺高的榕树巧妙地布置于第二个圆顶天窗之下,种植在这张蜿蜒般形态的沙发内,与立面上的“生命之树”相呼应,它犹如佛教中的圣树,访客可以置身于这个时尚的“殿堂”中,停顿、静力立或沉思。

In the second area, a serpentine sofa designed by Brandi Howe is located in the center of the space. A 14-foot-tall banyan tree, cleverly placed under a second domed skylight, is planted in the sinuous form of the sofa, echoing the "Tree of Life" on the facade, a Buddhist sacred tree that allows visitors to pause, statically stand or meditate in this stylish "temple."



空间 / 造型 / 比例

MOULDING

Sugarhouse为Cult Gaia品牌设计的另一家旗舰店SoHo,则采用了一种独特的方式,赋予空间别致的造型和匀称的比例,并与其所在地区独具特色的铸铁建筑相联系,同时融入希腊罗马柱廊和寺庙建筑的元素,使门店的总体设计秉承了该品牌的理念,成为了一处没有特定标准化的空间。
Sugarhouse's other flagship store for Cult Gaia, SoHo, takes a unique approach, giving the space chic shape and proportionality, and linking it to the area's distinctive cast iron architecture, while incorporating elements of Greco-Roman colonnades and temple architecture. The overall design of the store adheres to the concept of the brand, becoming a space without specific standardization.



Sugarhouse与油漆公司JH Wall Paints合作,对光滑度和浆状饰面进行了重新设计。最终选用了两种浅色的中性色来搭配石灰浆墙面,并为华丽的服饰背景墙增添厚重质感,同时丰富了空间的质地,塑造出柔软的氛围。
Sugarhouse worked with the paint company JH Wall Paints to redesign the smoothness and slurry finish. In the end, two light neutral colors were chosen to match the lime paste wall and add a heavy texture to the gorgeous costume background wall, while enriching the texture of the space and creating a soft atmosphere.



Cult Gaia无论是在品牌理念还是在产品设计上,都令人心动。Sugarhouse则将它们一一完美地呈现出来,同时还加入了当地的特色元素,区别于传统的零售空间,打造出风格迥异又令人眼前一亮的空间,以及特殊的购物体验。

Cult Gaia is exciting both in terms of brand concept and product design. Sugarhouse brings them all together perfectly, while also adding local elements that differentiate traditional retail Spaces to create stylish, eye-catching Spaces and special shopping experiences.
