I am Anna. I have hobbies like traveling. I have been to YunNan, BeiJing, Hainan. If you want to know about my journey, you can ask “Where did you go?” What else do you want to know?

S1:When did you go? T: 10 years ago.

S2: Who did you go with? T: My parents.

S3: How long did you stay? T: I stayed there for a week.

S:What did you do? I went to Tian’an Men Square.

Also you can ask me about my feeling. So this is about my journey.

Do you like traveling? Now I want to know more about your journey. 点了三个学生来回答。

T: Where did you go? S: Hai nan.

T: Who did you go with? S: With my parents.

T: How did you go? S: By plane.


(说了这么多,竟然才用了5分钟,时间把握的不错,很紧凑,学生也反应的很快。)


02 听前猜测(6:00-6:42)

Today they are coming to our class and talking about their journey. Let’s guess where they will go. To Guangzhou, America, or England. Maybe... S: Maybe they go to Guangzhou. S2: Maybe they go to England.

T:Now let’s listen and try to find out which places are mentioned in the dialogue. While you are listening, please take notes on the worksheet. 

03 听中 活动一

找出谈及到的地方(6:42--10:22)

(10:22-13:57)背景知识补充

带读地方名字,Los Angeles重复读。一个一个词叫学生起来读,然后齐读。

T: Where are eh Holly wood,Disneyland and Pacific Ocean? In America.

Here is a map of the U.S.A. Where is it? Los Angeles. Do you know where is Los Angeles. S1: It’s in T:Where is Paris? In France.the west of the U.S.A.

(感觉七年级学生真的比较难带,要一步步来,带读,齐读)


T: What else do you know about it? Is big or small? (带读)It is the first largest city in California, and the second largest city in the USA. So it is very (老师手做出大西瓜的动作) big.

(七年级的公开课真的不容易上,要一步一步去带领引导学生,不然这些孩子真的听不懂容易走神水平也有限,要一步步带着)

T: Can you find out California. Where is it? S: It is in the east. T: It is on the eat of ..(指着) S: California. [这个背景知识带的真不容易,就算是背景知识极少]


04 听中活动二  

找到更多的信息,填写表格(13:57-19:07)

T:Do you want to know more about Betty’s journey?Now let’s listen again and try to get more details about journey.

S1:2 years ago. T: When did she go to Los Angeles?

S2: It took about 9 hours. T: So it takes long time.

S3: With her parents. T: good job.Give me five.(这个互动也挺好的,很鼓舞,让学生简单的问题也得到成就感)

学生回答完之后,老师写板书,帮助后面提问(When/How/ How long/Who/What) did she go to Los Angeles?

T:How did she feel?Did she feel happy in the journey? S: She was happy because she went with her parents. Met her friends, she was happy. T: How about 9 hours?S: She felt very tired. T: So Betty in Los Angeles she felt happy but tired.

(老师把文本分成两部分,并设计成两个细节听取活动了,情感暗线的提取很好)



05 听中 活动三:听活动(19:07-24:44)

T:Do you want to know what did she do in LosAngelas? Let’s listen and find out what did she do. While listening, please pay attention to the key words.

(这个活动设计得很简单,就是排序,可能这个班级学生也是比较一般)

T: Betty went to S: Disney land. T: and? S: Hollywood. T:and? Santa Monica. 



T: What did she do in Disneyland?(播放Disneyland一段) S:Met Snow White and Mickey Mouse.

T: What did she do in Santa Monica? (播放一段) S:Swam in the Pacific Ocean. T: How did she feel? S: Great and excited.

T: Did she see movie star in Hollywood? No.

T:Do you know sth about Disney land? Let’s see.(播放迪士尼公园的视频)

深入探讨:听活动(24:44-27:28)【Deep thinking】

T:Do you like disneyland? Why?S:It’s beautiful. S2: It’s special.. S3: play with Micky.

(这个脚手架还不错,七年级的学生只会说点形容词,有点像我Form Hobby to Career哪里分析Patrick Moore是怎样的一个人,这是一个超越文本的创新活动)


T:What is Hollywood famous for? S:super stars and films.



T: Los Angeles is famous for? S: Disneyland, Hollywood, Santa Monica.(最简单的问题都叫学生,可能就是给学生机会吧,我觉得这堂课学生水平挺真实的,不是那种找最顶尖的学生那种表演式)




06 导入 听后活动一:跟读配音【实践与应用】(27:28-32:01)

T:Now let’s listen and read. Read.(播放,让学生跟读)

T:Who would like to be Betty? Tony? Lingling?(播放配音视频,可以用visla或者剪映做,挺好的,有配音的感觉)

T: Who is the better? The best? S:..T:good?very good? Or wonderful? T:May be you need more time to practice.(生生评价一下)

07  听后活动二 小组活动采访Interview(32:11-37:13才开始show time,时间很紧,39:32)

T: It’s time for you to share your journey to us.(✔看来,真的是很为学生着想,怕学生不明白,准备了视频sample,另外指示都是中文的,讲义也给了文字逐字稿,让学生生成不容易,脚手架都要给到。)



T:Here we go.(✔学生马上换位子组成一组,我觉得也挺好,如果教室只能够常规坐,那就先常规,然后再学生离开位置找小组同学,不过要提前安排好)


T: so which group want to share? Group 3,come here.

T:Time is limited, you can share after class.

T:What did you learn today? We have learn about places and how to talk about journey.

听课感受

一、整体感受是很真实,很扎实。

学生的水平与我们平时的学生一致,不是那种一说起来劈里啪啦的,而是真正有成长空间的,这样更加考察老师的带领能力。老师能够去一步步建构这个看上去挺简单的文本,教学设计奖就是颁给这种扎实设计的老师吧, 花里胡哨始终是形式,扎实的文本分析文本解读和活动带领是根本。


二、老师的脚手架挺充足的。

不管是讲义上的中文提示、sample(视频和文字,导入时候老师的经历描述)、背景知识中就地名的带读,都是很贴近引领学生的。最终的生成中需要什么,逆向设计回去,最终指向活动生成。比如interview需要学习特殊疑问句的句型,板书上就在活动中生成强调了,提问旅行的各个方面,感受的积累等等。


三、老师在基础问题也很愿意点学生回答,给学生信心。

这批学生明显水平有限,答难题可能连问题都看不懂,但是基础的问题,老师都会提问,并且给予肯定,给了学生很多信心。甚至后面,你学到了什么,时间都不够了,还是点学生,说明她很有让学生说的意识。
