Encounter
Twenty years ago, what I encountered
Were your words, Weaving through the intricate forest of language,
I sensed the melodies of your soul,
As if wandering by the distant, enigmatic Walden Pond——
Sunlight bathed the world,
While gentle rain wove dreams.
Twenty years later, what I encountered
Was you behind the words——
Your solitude and dreams,
Your passion and longing.
Those unconcealed
Joys and sorrows, Those sleepless
Thoughts and yearnings, Flow gently
Between past and future,
Amidst wakefulness and dreams,
Along the sandy bed of the lake.
