Dr. Xiaolan Fu
Professor and Founding Director of the Technology and Management Centre for Development, the University of Oxford
Xiaolan Fu is the Founding Director of the Technology and Management Centre for Development (TMCD), Professor of Technology and International Development, Fellow of Green Templeton College at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (ACSS), Founder of OxValue.AI. She was appointed by the Secretary-General of the United Nations to the Ten-Member High Level Advisory Group of the United Nations (UN) Technology Facilitation Mechanism and to the Governing Council of the UN's Technology Bank for Least Developed Countries.
She is a member of the UN SDSN Leadership Council led by Professor Jeffrey Sachs at Columbia University and a member of the Adivisory Board of UNU-MERIT. Prof Fu came to Oxford from the University of Cambridge, where she was a Senior Research Fellow. Dr. Xianhai Huang
Distinguished Professor of Economics
Vice President of Zhejiang University
Xianhai Huang received his Ph.D. in Economics from Fudan University. He was Visiting Scholar of Harvard University in 2008. Dr. Huang is a Professor of Economics and Vice President of Zhejiang University. He is also Professor of the “Changjiang Scholars Award Program” of the Ministry of Education, national “Wanren Plan” leading talents in philosophy and social sciences. Professor Huang is one of the ‘Young and Middle-aged Experts’ with outstanding contributions from the state, enjoyed the State Council special allowances, and national-level candidates for “100 million talent projects”. He has published more than 80 academic papers in newspapers and journals such as Chinese Social Science, Economic Research Journal, Management World, Xinhua Digest, People's Daily.
Professor Huang has successively presided over the National Social Science Fund with the projects at the provincial and ministerial level. He received more than 10 awards at the provincial and ministerial level resarch. Dr. Huang is currently a member of the National International Business Professional Degree Graduate Education Steering Committee. He is the Vice President of the China World Economics Association, Vice President of China-American Economic Association, and President of the Zhejiang International Trade Association. Dr. Anne Miroux
Senior Fellow of the Emerging Markets Institute, Cornell University and Former Director, UNCTAD
Dr. Anne Miroux has over 30 years of experience in international trade and finance. She began her career in the United Nations Centre on Transnational Corporations in New-York, and later joined the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) where she specialized on developing country debt, foreign direct investment (FDI) and transnational corporations (TNCs), and technology and innovation policies. For several years she headed the Investment Analysis Branch in UNCTAD and directed the World Investment Report (WIR), the United Nations flagship report on FDI and TNCs and served as the Editor of the United Nations' journal of Transnational Corporations.
Anne published a large number of research papers and led research projects and technical assistance activities in developing countries on debt, FDI and development. She is a member of the Advisory Board of the Technology and Management Center of the Department of International Development at the University of Oxford. Anne is also a member of the Board of NetExplo. She has a MBA from HEC, École des Hautes Études Commerciales, and a diplôme from IEP (Institut d’Études Politiques, Paris).
