我们所生活的世界是如何运作的？面对这个问题，有很多不同维度的回答与探讨。而“能源”这一关键词，是保证世界运作必不可少的要素。
小学PYP融合部五年级的同学们举办了期中学生主导会议，邀请家长进校，共同见证学生们的总结性评估汇报。
主导会议中，学生们展示了他们制作的关于能源的STEM项目的研究成果，阐述了“世界是如何运作的”这一探究单元的学习重点，即能量是如何转移、转化以及被高效利用的。
学生们创造性地展示给家长们留下了深刻印象。会议后期，同学们还分享了有关“我们是谁”这一探究单元的学习反思，讲述了自己对影响人们健康与幸福的因素的理解。

家长们的参与，加强了家校联系。在深入了解PYP学习过程的同时也感受到学生的成长。此次学生主导会议加深了学生对探究单元中所学内容的理解，也在口头和书面表达过程中收获了认可与自信。
本次学生主导会议也成为学期中一个令人难忘的里程碑，为孩子们在探究过程中展现的的专注和取得的成长与进步点赞！
Grade 5 students at Beijing Royal Experimental School proudly hosted their mid-semester student-led conference, welcoming parents into their learning journey. This special event showcased the students’ STEM projects on energy and highlighted their understanding of sustainable energy use, reflecting the unit of inquiry under the theme How the World Works.
Parents were impressed by the students’ creative presentations, which demonstrated how energy can be transferred, transformed, and used efficiently. The conference also provided an opportunity for students to share their reflections on the first unit of inquiry, Who We Are, which explored factors influencing health and well-being.
This interactive session strengthened the bond between school and family, celebrating student achievements while fostering a deeper understanding of the IB PYP learning process.
Parents left inspired by their children's growth and collaborative efforts, making the event a memorable milestone in the academic year.
