11月13日，小学融合部十月颁奖典礼由充满活力的四年级学生负责主持。
为了鼓励学生成为更优秀的学习者，融合部每个月都会对在月度中表现优异、取得进步的学生进行表彰鼓励。在来思语同学的钢琴伴奏中，十月的颁奖典礼正式开始。
“明星学生”、“最佳进步奖”、“IB学习者培养目标”获奖名单依次揭晓，在师生们的热情掌声中，获奖同学上台领奖，和大家一起分享进步带来的喜悦与成就。在王府，每一次进步都会被看到，都会被给予鼓励。
本次颁奖典礼上，还有两个重量级奖项的颁发。首先是“安徒生（国际）艺术奖”，有5位同学的原创画作远赴丹麦展览。
第二项，是为11月1日举办的英语阅读系列活动之最喜爱的“书中角色扮演”，颁发“最佳着装奖”和“最具创意着装奖”。
四年级在本学期的第一个探究单元中探索了榜样、信仰和价值观对行为的影响等话题。这些概念加深了同学们家庭、文化和社区对一个人树立价值观及制定决策的理解。
在颁奖典礼的最后，四年级同学反思了自己的学习过程与结果，4位学生代表用英文分别介绍了各自的人生楷模（毕加索、达芬奇、德国科学节菲利普·德特玛和伽利略）及被鼓舞的原因。演讲中，同学们展示出扎实的探究能力和表达自信。
最后，由学生代表邱兰珺同学做总结发言，“在UOI探究课上，我们学习了榜样、信仰和价值观。榜样的身上会有一些与众不同的特点，使得他们能够为改变这个世界而做出巨大的贡献。我们应该向榜样学习，也向身边的同学榜样学习。”邱兰珺同学号召高年级学生为低年级学生树立榜样，展现良好的行为习惯，让每个人都成为更好的自己。
PYP ASSEMBLY
On November 13th, the Grade 4 students at Beijing Royal Experimental School hosted the second school assembly with much success. The event honoured both the academic successes and the approaches to learning skills our students have cultivated following our IB PYP department’s objectives.
At the PYP assembly, we celebrated our students' remarkable achievements. Awards were given to those who have shown exceptional dedication to their studies, maintained positive attitudes, and made valuable contributions to school life. Our star students from all grades were honoured for their outstanding progress, highlighting their hard work and commitment to our school's principles and values.
Grade 4 students then gave excellent biographical speeches about famous historical figures, including Picasso, Philipp Dettmer, Leonardo da Vinci, and Galileo. The focus was on achievements and excellent pursuits of excellence in people who lived challenging lives. As PYP students, we should strive to overcome challenges and help others overcome theirs.
The presentations were met with resounding praise from all attendees, a testament to their alignment with our school's educational values. The presenters did an excellent job of bringing the famous figures to life with their colourful posters and rousing speeches. Their eloquence and passion embodied the research and communication skills taught in the IB program, leaving everyone reassured of our student's academic and personal growth.
The assembly wrapped up to enthusiastic applause and praise from students, teachers, and leaders. Everyone was proud and inspired by Grade 4’s words and excellent work. We eagerly anticipate witnessing more contributions from these learners as they continue to inspire their peers in school and beyond.
We applaud the excellent work of all our learners and hope they can continue to be symbols of the embodiment of what it means to be a student in the PYP department at Beijing Royal School. Many thanks are given to the Grade 4 students, teachers and staff who helped organize such a wonderful assembly and we hope for many more of these events in the future.
