In an exciting initiative that started with renewing our school’s values, HQIS Upper School community is proud to announce the launch of a brand-new school hoodie, embodying our chosen focus for the year: "Thrive."
HQIS高中部很自豪地向大家介绍我们推出的全新冬季校服卫衣，体现了我们今年的重点主题：“茁壮成长”。
Each attribute of "Thrive" was carefully brainstormed by our students and selected by the upper school community to reflect our commitment to growth, resilience, and excellence.
“茁壮成长”的每个特质都由我们的学生精心集思广益，经过高中部社区的共同选择，以反映我们对成长、韧性和卓越的承诺。

Our school hoodie design project started right after, inviting students from grade 6 to 12 to show off their design talent.
Designing a hoodie requires creativity and thoughtfulness. As students brainstorm and create visuals, they actively engage with the new school value, thinking about how to represent it visually. This creative process helps them internalize the concept beyond words.
校服卫衣设计项目由此启动，邀请了6至12年级的学生展示他们的设计才华。
卫衣设计需要创意和思考。在学生们头脑风暴并创建视觉效果的过程中，他们积极地与新的学校价值观进行互动，思考如何将其以视觉方式呈现。这个创造性的过程帮助他们将概念内化，不只是停留在语言层面。
Design No.11 by Student Council took the lead in designing the hoodie, with No. 1 also by Student Council taking second place. Tied for third place are No. 6 by Bella (Grade 6) and No. 7 by Irene (Grade 6).
设计编号11号由学生会主导，最终在校服设计中拔得头筹，而编号1号（同样由学生会设计）则获得第二名。并列第三名的是6号作品（由六年级的Bella设计）和7号作品（由六年级的Irene设计）。
The design process culminated in a school-wide vote, ensuring that everyone had a voice in creating a hoodie that symbolizes our collective identity and aspirations.
整个设计过程以高中部全体师生及家长的投票结束，确保了每个人都能在这一象征集体身份和共同理想的校服设计中发出自己的声音。
Not only does the design reflect the student body’s vision, but the entire production is being handled by our student council team, from choosing the fabric to negotiating the price, providing real-world experience and fostering school pride.
The initiative demonstrates the spirit of collaboration and entrepreneurship in the school community, setting an inspiring example of student-led achievement. We look forward to seeing everyone proudly wear their school hoodies, knowing that this achievement is a testament to our collective effort and school spirit!
不仅仅在校服设计中体现了学生群体的愿景，整个校服下单制作生产过程也由我们的学生会主导负责，从挑选布料到协商价格，这不仅为学生们提供了实际的社会实践经验，还激发了他们对学校的自豪与归属感。
此次的校服设计项目展示了高中部学生的协作精神和创业精神，为‘学生主导’这一理念树立了一个鼓舞人心的榜样。我们期待看到每个孩子自豪地穿上这件校服卫衣，这项成就是我们携手共进和学校精神的见证！
