The Shanghai Hongqiao International School Varsity Golf Team triumphs once again, securing an impressive victory at the 2024 Superkit Junior Golf Tournament held last May 19 with an absolute advantage of 8 strokes ahead of the second place. Along with the championship, the team proudly brought home multiple individual awards such as the Men’s Group A and Group B Champion, a third place in Men's Group B, and more, an outstanding demonstration of skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship!

上海虹桥国际外籍人员子女学校（HQIS）高尔夫校队于5月19日在2024“Superkit”青少年高尔夫嘉年华挑战赛-上海协和站中，以团体总成绩领先第二名8杆的绝对优势，荣获团体冠军，另外包揽男子A组冠军、男子B组冠军、男子B组季军，展现了出色的竞技实力与团队合作精神！

The Superkit Youth Golf Carnival Challenge brought together nearly a hundred players, with four golf academies and schools competing against each other. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the extraordinary skills and unwavering dedication and exceptional skills of the team's six talented members.

此次“Superkit”青少年高尔夫嘉年华挑战赛吸引了近百名选手参与，四所高尔夫学院和学校竞相争夺团体荣誉。HQIS高尔夫校队凭借六名队员的精湛技艺和默契配合，成功脱颖而出，成为本次比赛的佼佼者。

The team's victory was defined by the exceptional individual performances of its members. Leading the charge was Leo Yang, who delivered a standout performance in the Men's Group A category, securing the coveted first-place finish. Aaron Cao continued the HQIS dominance by claiming the top spot in the Men's Group B division. As if that wasn’t enough, Victor Wang showcased his remarkable abilities by securing the third-place position in the Men's Group B category. This outstanding achievement not only brings great pride to our school but also served as a platform where our young golfer showcased their exceptional skills.

在男子组比赛中，Leo Yang凭借稳定的发挥和出色的表现，勇夺男子A组冠军；Aaron Cao同样发挥出色，荣获男子B组冠军；Victor Wang也凭借不俗的实力，获得男子B组季军。这些队员的优异表现不仅为校队赢得了荣誉，也展现了他们在高尔夫运动上的天赋和潜力。

In addition to these already extraordinary results, our new entry Aaron Z., who represented the school team for the first time, and Kate, the only female player, did also a phenomenal job. Our students cap off a season marked by consistent excellence and teamwork, and we could not be more proud. With such a talented and dedicated roster, the future looks bright for the HQIS Varsity Golf Team, and we are sure they will continue to push the boundaries of their sport.

除了这些获得个人奖项的队员外，首次代表校队出战的新队员Aaron.Z和唯一的女队员Kate也表现出色。他们在赛场上展现出沉着冷静的态度，取得了优异的成绩。在未来的训练和激烈比拼中，这些优秀的队员们定会以更快的速度成长和进步，为校队赢得更多的荣誉，贡献出更为强大的力量。

The HQIS Varsity Golf Team has currently eight members, led by senior head coaches Angela and Jason. Along with the daily off-field training sessions held every Wednesday, the school team also arranges more than two team events and intra-team competitions for the players to improve their competitive and teamwork skills. At the same time, the school also provides scholarships and academic support to the players and utilizes world-class equipment with brands such as Callaway to provide players with the best options for their growth and development.

HQIS高尔夫校队现有八名队员，由资深主教练Angela和Jason教练带训。除了每周三的日常下场训练外，校队还为队员安排了两场以上的团体赛事及队内对抗赛，以提升队员们的竞技水平和团队协作能力。同时，学校还为队员提供奖学金和学术支持，Callaway等高尔夫品牌也提供专业装备和服装支持，为队员们的成长和发展提供了有力保障。

As the 2023-2024 school year comes to the end, the HQIS golf team will also usher in the last closing event of this semester: the House competition. At the end of semester assembly, the school and the coaching team will award our students with "Player of the Year", "Academic Award", and "Progress Award" to recognize and reward their hard work and commitment and for bringing honor to HQIS.

随着2023-2024学年度即将结束，HQIS高尔夫校队也将迎来本学期最后一场收官赛事——队内对抗赛。学期总结会上，学校及教练团将颁发“年度最佳球员”、“年度学术奖”、“年度进步奖”等总结奖项，以表彰和奖励这一学年在高尔夫竞技和为校争光上努力拼搏的队员们。
