Mr. Freddy started his career in his home country Belgium teaching English in secondary education for several years. In 2015, Freddy moved to Kunming for the first time to work in a training school. He felt at home straight away, learning about Chinese culture and especially enjoying the local cuisine.

Ms. Mary is an English language teacher. She comes from Serbia.She has a Master’s degree in English language and literature. She has been working in education for 11 years already (7 years in primary education), where her students have all achieved high results in summative assessments. After coming to China, she has worked with children of all ages. In China as well, she has proved her worth being very well accepted by her coworkers and the community. 

Mr. Austin is a homeroom teacher with more than seven years of experience teaching children. Mr. Austin is actively pursuing his M. Ed. in elementary education while he continues to teach in China. His main goal as a teacher is to create an atmosphere of learning that follows the International Baccalaureate, allowing students to flourish in developing their English abilities and curiosity about the world.

Mr. Bam from the Philippines, and he has had the incredible opportunity to teach in China for many years, guiding young minds from kindergarten to primary school. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, graduating with the Latin honor of Magna Cum Laude. His passion for teaching goes beyond the classroom—he strive to create an environment where students feel safe, motivated, and genuinely excited to learn. He is a strong advocate of Outcome-Based Teaching (OBT), a student-centered approach that clearly defines learning outcomes, ensuring that every student not only meets but exceeds their potential. His goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning in each child he has the privilege to teach.

Mr. Alberto has an MA in Asian Studies obtained at Ca’Foscari University of Venice, an MA in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language obtained at Yunnan Normal University, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education obtained at Nottingham University. He has also completed IELTS level 9 and HSK level 6.  Mr Alberto has been a teacher in China for twelve years and has taught many students of diverse levels of abilities and of different ages, enjoying every minute of it.

Mr. Reuben grew up in the town of Bradford in the north of England. He qualified as a TEFL teacher and came to China.  He has now been living and teaching in China for over ten years. He has taught in kindergartens, training centers and public primary schools.  He loves teaching children, especially primary age, and sharing in their natural inquisitiveness and joy for learning. He hopes to inspire them to lead active and healthy lives, and to develop a lifelong love for books.

Mr. Stuart brings a blend of experience and passion to the classroom. Holding a law degree from the University of Hull, he possesses a strong foundation in critical thinking and problem-solving, skills that translate seamlessly into engaging young learners.  With over a decade of teaching experience in China, he has honed a deep understanding of young learners' needs and developed a dynamic teaching style that fosters a happy and active learning environment.  

Mr. David from the UK. After graduating from the University of Liverpool with a BSc Evolutionary Anthropology, he started working in the UK teaching science. In the ten years since finishing university he has continued his study, earning a TEFL and a CELTA.

Ms. Elize has been involved in education for the past 35 years.  She has a B.Ed degree in Education with English as specialization subject and also obtained a B.Com Financial Accounting degree in Accountancy and Economics as specialization subjects. She has been teaching at High School as well as Primary school levels, achieving awards for subjects taught. She is a hard-working, committed and loyal teacher. She is caring, loving and open minded.

Mr. Jordan is a native of Canada and has been teaching professionally for over 10 years. He has a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology. He has taught in South Korea, China and different regions in Canada. He has a passion for teaching and has taught at the primary, middle and high school level. Jordan loves learning and strives to see each student reach their own personal potential.

Mr. Dane has accumulated seven years of teaching experience, spanning from primary to high school levels. With a Bachelor's degree in both Music and Social Science, Dane is licensed by the South African Council of Educators (SACE). His primary teaching subjects include English，music. In addition to his bachelor's degrees, he has obtained an International Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (IPGCE) from the University of Derby and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from South Africa. Demonstrating a strong commitment to education, he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education through St. John Moore's University of Liverpool.

Ms. Vivian has High School Chinese Teaching Certification and Level 3 National Psychology Counselor Certification. She also has teaching experience in Primary Chinese teaching for several years and help students to get several special prize in the national writing competition. Her essays which about Chinese Education and Homeroom Essay also be published and won the prize.

Ms. Evelyn is a Chinese teachers who worked in the first line of education for many years. Through her education experience, she won titles of "Excellent Chinese Teacher", "Standard Teacher" and "Teaching Model", etc. After many years of education practicing, Mrs. Evelyn built up her own flexible and efficient teaching style. In her teaching, she is good at finding out the important knowledge point from content and lead students to explore these points by themselves. In her class, she believes that students are always the core people who have experiencing and exploring. In these processes, Evelyn thinks she is the person who compare with students in their study experience and the lighter for students' mind and emotion.

Ms. Snow was accredited as the "Level 1 Middle School Teacher" in the Sepetember, 2013. Her essay "Enlightenment Music and Chinese" won the Second Prize in Yunnan Education Research Essay Competition. Snow also on the Thrid Prize in Yunnan Kunming Teaching Competition. "Each effort will gain the harvest", the great effort made her become an outstanding teacher, her students also got a lot of prizes under her tutoring. Except of these, Snow also won "the First Prize of Tutorial Teacher". Snow has abundant teaching experience and skills, her interacted teaching methods attracted a lot of students. In the teaching, she focus on the how to foster students to become the leader of their own study and stimulate their creative thinking to make them become active learners. Snow believes that these could help children have correct view of world and view of life.

Ms. Jessica who graduated from Yunnan Normal University and majored in education as an exchange student in Oriental University of Thailand, has 13 years of teaching experience. She has been engaged in education in Thailand, and holds the Chinese higher education teacher Qualification Certificate and the Thai teacher Qualification Certificate. The teaching style is student-centered and concept-driven. Through the design of various practical themes and lively and diverse activities, it lays a good knowledge foundation for students. At the same time, it constantly cultivates students' learning skills, stimulates students' curiosity and interest, guides students to take the initiative to learn and explore the unknown with interest, so that students can truly become the master of learning.

Ms. Susan who has been engaged in education for 7 years, has a deep love for education and a very strong sense of responsibility, and has been fully affirmed by parents and students. She always believes that "enthusiasm, diligence and patience" is the eternal creed of good education work. The charming Chinese culture has always nourished her, and ancient poetry is her favorite. In her spare time, she likes writing, traveling and traveling all over the world. Her motto is: "The teacher who nurtures people first nurtures himself is wise; Correct people first correct themselves, is for the virtue; The teacher is the one who has both virtue and wisdom."

Ms. Magen from the beautiful Dali Yunnan province, Has been engaged in mathematics education since graduation in 2018, love education, that education is a process of continuous exploration, in cultivating student’ thinking, excavating children’ s potential, teaching in accordance with their aptitude. Education is the p process of heart-to-heart communication between teachers and students. Teachers and students should be teachers and friends. Only by understanding the deep heart of children can we truly achieve the purpose of education. 

Ms. Rhea graduated from Kunming University majored in mathematics and applied mathematics.She love students and communicating with them. She is a teacher of friendly attitude who guides students explore a productive and inquiring learning method, and analyzes the difficulties and challenge so that students boost the competence of solving problems and logical thought. The inspiration of her class came from fun games and magic, leading a simplified method of learning. 

Ms. Cici graduated from Central China Normal University with a bachelor of Arts. She has worked as a teacher at Guandu Central Primary School, Yunnan Police Academy and an online education institution in Shanghai for nearly ten years since her graduation with a senior teacher qualification certificate and TEM-8. Cici joined BIBS Kunming in March 2021 to teach Mathematics with rich teaching experience. In her free time, she prefers reading books and thinking. She thinks education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. Mathematics is not just solving for X, it’s also figuring out why. Without a doubt is not knowledge. 

Ms. Jane graduated from Yunnan Normal University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. Jane has been engaged in education for more than ten years and has rich teaching experience in both public and private schools. During the class, she implemented multi-level teaching according to the differences of students, designed interesting mathematical activities to help students to learn, and was elected the excellent teacher. Through many years of IB teaching and IB training, Jane follows the teaching philosophy of IB and leads students to complete many mathematics practice activities. Jane believes: an encouraging look in the eyes and a kind greeting can make a potential student move toward a bright life.

Ms. Ray Graduated from the Capital Normal University with a major in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. After graduation, she has dedicated herself to the pedagogy of mathematics, facilitating student success in entry examinations through her committed teachings. She steadfastly maintains the role of a compassionate educator, abiding by the tenet of "respect, empathy, authenticity, and active listening," with the aspiration of kindling students' intellectual curiosity and mentoring them to unravel the aesthetic elegance of mathematics.

Ms. Emily graduated from Massey University with Master’s degree in Design. She finished her higher education in New Zealand and had over 10 years’ working experience in commercial photography industry before becoming an Art and Design teacher in Secondary schools in New Zealand in the recent years. As once an international student aboard, she has deepened her understanding in Western education system and used her personal experience to help students gain self-confidence and multi-cultural perspective.

Ms. Angel has 10 years experience in dancing and teaching. She attended different dancing competitions and won a lot of prizes since 2007. Since 2012, Angel got Level 1 to Level 8 Chinese Dance Certification in Beijing Dancing College and Level 1 and 2 Ballet Dance Teaching Certification. She is keen on the education, after the graduation, she had a lot of experience of tutoring students to won a lot of prizes in several dancing competitions. She likes teaching dancing and believes that she could use her enthusiasm to let students love this subject.

Mr. Hua,  His academic journey started with a fervor for sports. A standout on my high school basketball team, he pursued Athletic Training at Shandong Sports University, eventually becoming a National Athlete. Intrigued by New Zealand's sporting reputation, he completed a Master's in Sport and Exercise Science in 2015. He has 10 years of experience coaching and teaching multi-sports, cultivating talents across various age groups, including an 11-year-old swimmer who won the 2021 Auckland Swimming Championship and a 10-year-old figure skater who attained the title of 2020 New Zealand National Champion. Additionally, his collaboration with a gold medalist swimmer from the Young Olympic Games in a New Zealand swimming club further refined his coaching skills.

Ms. Rosie has been teaching ideology& politics for four years. She advocates that "ideology& politics comes from life" and leads students to feel the beauty of Chinese in a way close to life. Adhering to the purpose of "love, care and support" of BIBS Kunming, she leads students to constantly explore the true meaning of ideology& politics learning, and experience and feel the beauty of ideology& politics from various ways such as practice, games, performances and competitions. "Learning high can only be a teacher, and being upright can be a model." While cultivating cultural knowledge, she also pays attention to moral cultivation. She said that this is the minimum quality as an educator.

Ms. Neela graduated from Hainan Normal University with a bachelor's degree. She obtained a teacher qualification certificate. During her studies, she participated in Hainan International conferences assisting visitors from abroad. Neela has worked as a teacher in an English training school and an international bilingual kindergarten, she has 4 years of English teaching experience.  Additionally she has participated in various teaching and research training activities pertaining to early education. Neela has a positive attitude, enthusiasm, self-confidence and continually seeks self-improvement. She loves working with children, has a high sense of responsibility and is dedicated to ensuring the success of all of her students. 

Ms. Claire has been working in BIBS Kunming campus one year. She earned TEM 4,TEM 8 and teaching certificate for senior-high school in the university, then she has been teaching English for ten years. She gained love and respect from her students and parents,because she is professional and diligent.She believes that teachers and students can learn and grow together. Her motto is,"Teaching one to fish is better than giving him fish."

Ms. Zoe graduated from Yunnan University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree and passed the TEM 8. She has been engaged in teaching English for more than 8 years and accumulated rich experience. She can improve students’ enthusiasm and participation with different activities according to students' condition, which can help students learn language and improve their thinking ability in a pleasant environment. She believes every child in the classroom is the whole world of the family.
