UAE benchmark mill elevates rebar over robust demand
阿联酋基准钢厂、Emsteel的钢铁部门Emirates Steel（ESI）将其1月份轧制的10-40毫米直螺纹钢（BS4449:2005级GR500B）国内挂牌价比12月份提高50阿联酋迪拉姆/吨（13.6美元）。
United Arab Emirates benchmark mill Emirates Steel (ESI), Emsteel’s steel division, has increased its January-rolling domestic 10-40mm straight rebar (BS4449:2005 grade GR500B) list prices by AED 50/tonne ($13.6) over December.
Kallanish（开阑商务信息咨询）获悉，目前价格为2,652阿联酋迪拉姆/吨（722美元）出厂价，2,657阿联酋迪拉姆/吨cpt阿布扎比，2,667阿联酋迪拉姆/吨cpt迪拜、沙迦和北阿联酋。
Values are now at AED 2,652/t ($722) ex-works, AED 2,657/t cpt Abu Dhabi, and AED 2,667/t cpt Dubai, Sharjah, and Northern Emirates, Kallanish learns.
付款方式为90天信用证，该公司对直径8毫米的螺纹钢收取比挂牌价高92阿联酋迪拉姆/吨（25美元）的溢价。盘螺的价格与螺纹钢相同。
Payment is against letter-of-credit (LC) 90 days and the firm charges a AED 92/t ($25) premium for 8mm diameter rebar over list prices. Rebar in coil is priced the same as rebar.

"Strong demand for reinforcing steel is expected to continue into the first quarter of 2025, driven by positive trends in the steel market and rising international scrap prices seen in December. As a result, the planned increase of AED 50/t in net prices will reflect the current supply and demand balance," an insider comments.

"Additionally, the UAE's sharp rise in property prices indicates increased construction demand, which impacts material costs, including steel. As property values rise, it's natural for the prices of essential materials to adjust accordingly," he adds.
包括总部设在阿曼的Jindal Shadeed（该公司每月向阿联酋螺纹钢市场供应6万至6.5万吨螺纹钢）在内，当地螺纹钢供应商预计将在本周公布新的螺纹钢报价。Jindal高管给螺纹钢分销商的印象是，该公司将追随ESI的脚步。
Including Oman-based Jindal Shadeed, which supplies the UAE rebar market with 60,000-65,000 tonnes/month of rebar, local rebar suppliers are expected to announce their new rebar quotations this week. Jindal senior officials have given the impression to rebar distributors that the firm will follow in ESI’s footsteps.
