NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday will be flying to Moscow for a two-day Russia visit, which India's ambassador to Russia Vinay Kumar called "very significant".
This will be PM Modi's first Russia visit ever since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Envoy Vinay Kumar said the two leaders will exchange views on developments in bilateral ties and discuss other regional issues of mutual interest, according to news agency ANI.

In a strategic move, OnePlus has reinstated Robin Liu as the head of its India operations, according to a report by Moneycontrol. This decision follows the departure of several key executives from both India and China. The reshuffle comes amid growing tensions with offline retailers in India.
Samrudh Pai, previously responsible for OnePlus's offline business, has exited the company.
Since Navnit Nakra's departure in June 2023, OnePlus India has lacked an Indian executive in charge of its local operations.
Additionally, Lincle Peng, a Chinese executive who was managing OnePlus’s operations in India, has also left the company, the report claimed.

It gained prominence in 2021 after several ministers endorsed it amid a row between the Indian government and X, which was then known as Twitter.

NEW DELHI: The Centre on Sunday said around 310 pigs have been culled in Kerala's Thrissur district after an outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF). The outbreak was detected in Madakkatharan Panchayath, prompting swift action from the state's Animal Husbandry Department.
Rapid Response Teams were deployed to cull and dispose of pigs within a 1 km radius of the epicentre on July 5, the Union Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying said in a statement.
