一种存在的突显：隐士
黑色的头巾──
涡状的云杉，还是雪中的
柴扉，在燃烧──
我的心脏滚动，藏匿
在这座山中──
天翻地覆之后──叶子
落尽
伸手接住了树枝──
幼小的兽漫行──我的
童仆，脆弱地挟一具琴
顺着我的脚印，山路
蜿蜒
我的主要动脉──瀑布
倾泻而下
（──二十世纪各种主义喧哗──）
跨过这座木桥
我的驴子嘶鸣
提醒我──正走过第四世纪的山水
它将说
身体就是这么回事
还有什么──
能使我冰凉而
颤抖

我添加炭火。由红而黑

Sudden evidence of existence: a hermit’s
Black headscarf─
Whorled spruce boughs, or a brushwood door
In the snow, burning─
My heart churning along, hidden
In these mountains─
Once the sky stops falling─leaves
Floats down
Reach out to catch a branch tip
A newborn beast goes rambling─my servant boy
Tremulously clutches a lute
Follows my steps along the path
Winding up and down
A waterfall─my main artery
Comes gushing down
(a fracas of 20th century ideologies)
Crossing this trestle bridge
My donkey brays
A reminder─passing through a 4th Century landscape
It brays to tell me:
This is what you can expect of a body
What else─
Could make me icy cold
And shivery?

Cooking smoke. Heartbeat of a village
To speak of eternity shames us
Yet it is found there in
The word “wilderness”─this is my
hometown
I think of Baudelaire and Plath
Dickinson and Tsvetayeva
I feed a charcoal fire. From red to black
From gray to white
I watch over a stove
─a reasonless task
