The Spatial Biodynamics Lab (spatialbiodynamics.org) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, is actively looking for highly motivated postdocs, PhD students to join our scientific adventure to observe and decode transient signaling and computation, long-term changes, and multimodal dynamics in the living brain via technological breakthroughs. 课题组负责人简介

令狐昌洋博士本科毕业于清华大学,后于MIT Ed Boyden实验室开展研究并取得博士学位。现任密歇根大学医学院细胞与发育生物学系助理教授,兼任密歇根大学神经科学研究所、生物医学工程学院成员。课题组致力于通过开发和应用新技术,观测和研究活体大脑中的细胞生理活动,揭示分子动态和细胞活动驱动大脑计算、学习和记忆等功能的神经机制。

令狐昌洋博士先后于Cell, Nature Biotechnology, Neuron, and Nature Communications发表文章。此外,他曾荣获MIT科技评论全球35位35岁以下创新者(TR35)(2024), Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Collaborative Pairs Pilot Project Award(2024), Glenn and AFAR Junior Faculty Grant(2024), Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Collaborative Pairs Pilot Project Award(2024), Whitehall Foundation Three-Year Research Grant(2024), GenScript Life Science Research Grant (2024), Bioengineering in Brain Cancer Challenge Seed Fund Award from UMich (2024), Spatial Analytics of Cancer Challenge Seed Fund Award from UMich (2023), Biological Sciences Scholar (BSSP) from UMich (2022), MIT Spot Award (for community service) (2022), MIT Technology Review 35 Innovators Under 35 China (TR35 China) (2021), Bioengineering Rising Star Speaker from Princeton University(2021), J. Douglas Tan Postdoctoral Fellow(2020), McGovern Graduate Fellow(2018), MIT Presidential Fellow (supported by Irwin Mark Jacobs and Joan Klein Jacobs) (2013)。

Dr. Changyang Linghu
is an Assistant Professor in Cell and Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan Medical School and a faculty member of the Michigan Neuroscience Institute, Single Cell Spatial Analysis Program in the Biosciences Initiative, and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering from Tsinghua University and received his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology working with Dr. Ed Boyden. The Spatial Biodynamics Lab he leads is on a mission to understand the principles of how molecular dynamics and cellular activities drive fundamental brain functions, such as computation, learning, and memory, via the development and application of novel technologies to monitor and interrogate cell physiology in the living brain. His recent works are published in Cell, Nature Biotechnology, Neuron, and Nature Communications. He enjoys brewing coffee, hiking, music, and science!

博士后
1. 申请人应具有博士学位,并对神经科学和/或生物技术有强烈兴趣。
2. 根据其学术背景及研究兴趣,申请人将从事开发和/或应用创新性神经生物学技术的相关工作,观测和解码活体大脑中细胞群体的瞬时信号、长期变化或多模态动态。
3. 申请人将在多学科环境中,与密歇根大学的科学家、工程师和/或临床医生紧密合作。
4. 实验职责包括实验设计和进行研究。非实验职责包括论文撰写、参与国内外会议,以及与合作者交流合作。
5. 岗位薪资福利优厚,具体待遇参照密歇根大学医学院相关标准。
6. 有小鼠体内实验经验者优先考虑

Postdoc Fellow
1. The successful applicant should have a Ph.D. degree and have a strong interest in neuroscience and/or biotechnology.
2. Project(s) and research questions will be tailored depending on the candidate expertise and interests.
3. Experimental responsibilities include designing and conducting research to observe and decode molecular/cellular activities in living mouse brains. Non-experimental responsibilities include writing drafts of manuscripts, presenting at national and international conferences, and networking with collaborators both in and outside U-M. 
4. The successful applicant will also work in a multidisciplinary and collaborative setting with scientists, engineers, and/or clinicians at the University of Michigan. 
5. Excellent salary and benefits standard at the University of Michigan Medical School.

rior experience in mouse in vivo experiments is preferred.
