Cyanagapanthia aurecens Wang et Zheng, 2002黄毛金蓝天牛Comments. – The genus Cyanagapanthia was described by Breuning (1968) for the species Cyanagapanthia bicolor Breuning, based on a female from Laos, Vientian Prov. which we have been able to study in the BBMH. Subsequently, Wang & Zheng (2002) described a second species C. aurescens Wang & Zheng, based on a female from China, Yunnan, Simao Caiyanghe, 1200 m. (MDBNU). These two species are very close and difficult to separate, primarily based on their coloration and the morphology of the ocular lobes and the scutellum. This is a new genus and species for the fauna of Vietnam.
