近期，一部战争历史电影《志愿军：存亡之战》，正在热映中。该影片聚焦抗美援朝战争中的铁原阻击战，中国人民志愿军第63军2.5万将士与近5万“联合国军”激战12昼夜，顽强抗击美军4个师的轮番进攻，在铁原战场上构筑了一道冲不破的铁长城，最终共歼敌1.5万余人，粉碎了美军抢占铁原、摧毁志愿军后方基地和交通线的企图，生动诠释了伟大的抗美援朝精神。
Recently, a war history film titled "Volunteers: The Battle of Survival" has been making waves.The film focuses on the blocking battle of Tetsuhara during the Korean War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, where 25,000 soldiers of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army's 63rd Army fought fiercely against nearly 50,000 "United Nations Forces" for 12 days and nights. They resolutely resisted the successive assaults of four U.S. divisions, building an impregnable iron wall on the Tieyuan battlefield. In the end, they eliminated over 15,000 enemy troops, thwarting the U.S. military's attempts to capture Tetsuhars and destroy the Volunteer Army's rear bases and supply lines, vividly illustrating the great spirit of resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea.

From "Amazing, China" and "My People，My Country" to "The Battle at Lake Changjin"… Every October, watching a patriotic film has become a traditional project for the International Department's patriotic education at XJTLU-AS.

The film uses unique visual and lighting techniques to bring the heroes' stories to life once again. It is not only a tribute to the martyrs and a reminder of history but also a spiritual awakening for all teachers and students. During the two-hour screening, the audience felt heartbroken by the brutality of war, and they were deeply moved by the Volunteer soldiers' fervent patriotism and their courageous spirit of sacrifice.

战争太残酷了，战士们太可怜了。而看到这些的我们，早已被夺眶而出的泪水淹没，笑不出来。片中的人越是微笑，我们越是想哭。走出影院，身后的同学们说：“幸好今天不用打仗了。”我想，不是不用，而是有人曾以血肉之躯为我们筑起了一道坚实的屏障。”对此，我们更应该好好学习，不负韶华，用行动诠释对幸福生活的珍惜和对前辈们的敬仰。

War is so cruel, and the soldiers are so pitiable. As we witness this, we are already overwhelmed by tears, unable to smile. The more the people in the film smile, the more we feel like crying. As we left the cinema, some classmates said, "Thankfully, we don't have to fight today." After watching the movie, my heart was stirred. Looking back at the past, those precious moments that we now cherish as life itself were once as light as a feather, where a single blow could end a life, which is heartbreaking. They faced a well-equipped heavy-armored army with inadequate weapons and rudimentary gear, bravely confronting them. The pain and despair they endured are unimaginable to us; however, they unleashed a force born of unwavering belief and tenacious will. Even in the face of immense disparity, they were unwilling to concede easily. The victorious red flag waved in the wind, both exhilarating and bringing tears to our eyes.
