上周，比利时驻华大使安博宁阁下、公共外交参赞冯约翰和根特大学代表张弛访问了辽宁省沈阳市。
Last week, Ambassador H.E. Bruno Angelet, Public Diplomacy Counsellor Johan Van hove, and Zhang Chi, Representative of Ghent University, visited the northeastern city of Shenyang in Liaoning Province.
安博宁大使一行就加强沈阳与比利时的多领域合作进行了深入探讨。访问期间，安博宁大使一行参观了沈阳的文化地标，包括沈阳故宫、举办法国艺术家马蒂尔-雷塞作品展的1905文化创意园，以及存放着 3000 多件比利时艺术品的沈阳贸易区艺术品保税仓库Freestart。同时，大使还与两位比利时常驻艺术家丹尼尔-斯鲁塞（Daniel Sluse）和吉塞佩-巴里亚罗（Guiseppe Barillaro）进行了交流。后者还在自由贸易艺术区举办了一场令人钦佩的展览。这种文化外交可以加强人与人之间的联系，促进双边关系的发展。
Ambassador Angelet and his delegation engaged in in-depth discussions to enhance multi-field cooperation between Shenyang and Belgium. During this visit, they explored Shenyang’s cultural landmarks, including the Shenyang Imperial Palace, the 1905 Re-Creative Space for the exhibition of the French artist Martial Raysse and Freestart, the Trade Zone Art Bonded warehouse Shenyang, where more than 3.000 Belgian artworks are stored. At the same time, the ambassador was able to engage with two Belgian resident artists, Daniel Sluse and Guiseppe Barillaro. The latter also had an admirable exhibition in the free trade art zone. This kind of cultural diplomacy can enhance people-to-people connections and promote a more robust bilateral relationship.
这次访问不仅是文化访问，也是经济访问，比利时代表团参观了比利时贝卡尔特沈阳精密钢制品有限公司、贝卡尔特和宝马公司支持的幼儿园等。
The visit was not only cultural but also economic, as it involved visiting plants such as Belgian Bekaert Group Shenyang Advanced Products Co., Ltd, the Kindergarten supported by Bekaert, and BMW.
通过考察文化地标和当地企业，比利时代表团更好地了解了沈阳的潜力，为今后的合作铺平了道路。
By exploring cultural landmarks and local enterprises, the delegation better understood Shenyang’s potential, paving the way for future partnerships.
此外，通过拜访沈阳市市长吕志成、沈阳市委常委、副市长段继阳、市委秘书长吴向国和沈阳市政府外办主任陈双伟，还讨论了重要的政治问题。这次重要会议对比中两国的双边合作产生了积极影响，促进了两国文化和经济联系的加深。
Furthermore, an important political component was also addressed through a visit to the Mayor of Shenyang, Lv Zhicheng, the Standing Member of CPC Shenyang Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor Duan Jiyang, the Secretary General of the Municipal Committee Wu Xianguo, and the DG of FAO Shenyang Chen Shuangwei. The important meeting positively impacted bilateral cooperation between Belgium and China by fostering deeper cultural and economic ties.
按照传统，访问团最后在康莱德酒店与居住在辽宁省的比利时人和比利时的朋友举行了见面会。
As tradition goes, the mission ended with a Meet & Greet with the Belgians and friends of Belgium living in the province of Liaoning at the Conrad Hotel.
