Belgium's athletes returned home from the Paris Olympics with an impressive haul of 10 medals. Last night, they appeared at the Grand Place in Brussels to greet over 5000 fans and celebrated together. Our excited Manneken Pis also teamed Belgium, put on the costume of the Belgian athletes.
In our last article, we mentioned the historica victory of Remco Evenepoel, first male cyclist winning the time trial and road race in the same Olympic Games. Remco goes down in Belgian history as the greatest Belgian cyclist of his age, and perhaps of all time.

蝉联3届冠军！又一次创造历史
Three gold medals in a row
而且，我们并没有就此止步！8月9日，Nafi Thiam成为历史上第一位在连续三届奥运会上赢得七项全能冠军的女性。在2016年里约奥运会和2020年东京奥运会上夺冠后，她又又又获得了一枚金牌！太令人骄傲了！连夺三枚金牌，真是令人惊叹！

其他奖牌获得者包括在自行车计时赛中获得铜牌的Wout van Aert和在马拉松比赛中获得银牌的Bashir Abdi。Lotte Kopecky获得女子公路赛铜牌，Fabio Van den Bossche获得场地自行车全能赛铜牌。Gabriella Willems和 Sarah Chaâri也分别获得柔道和跆拳道铜牌。Noor Vidts与Nafi Thiam同台竞技，获得七项全能铜牌。

And we didn't stop there! On 9th August, Nafi Thiam also made her nation proud by becoming the first woman ever to win the heptathlon at three consecutive Olympics, following her victories in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. Three gold medals in a row, wow, just wow!
Other medal winners included Wout van Aert, who won bronze in the cycling time trial, and Bashir Abdi, who took silver in the marathon. Lotte Kopecky won bronze in the women's road race, while Fabio Van den Bossche earned bronze in the track cycling omnium. Gabriella Willems and Sarah Chaâri also secured bronze medals in judo and taekwondo respectively. Noor Vidts shared the stage with Nafi Thiam, won bronze in heptathlon.
