The Ambassador toured the new factory of ADB Safegate, which was inaugurated last year. ADB Safegate is a premier Belgian company at the forefront of aviation solutions. Their unmatched innovative contributions to airport performance and safety underscore the strength of the Belgian industry on the global stage.
大使还与天津市人民政府外事办公室主任栾建章进行了深入讨论，探讨了新的合作途径，并回顾了双方的文化和历史渊源。比利时和天津有着丰富的文化和经济交流史，最早可追溯到20世纪初，当时比利时公司为天津基础设施和城市面貌的发展做出了贡献。
The Ambassador also engaged in insightful discussions with the Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People’s Government, M. Luan Jianzhang, exploring new avenues for collaboration and reminiscing about cultural and historical ties. Belgium and Tianjin share a rich history of cultural and economic exchanges dating back to the early 20th century when Belgian companies contributed to the development of Tianjin’s infrastructure and urban landscape.
此次访问再次表明，比利时致力于深化这些历史渊源，并在中国展示其专业技术和创新能力。
This visit reaffirms our commitment to deepening these historical ties and showcasing Belgian expertise and innovation in China.
