Eggs are a staple in our diet. We love to eat them in all forms; whether boiled or scrambled for brunch, in an omelet for a light meal or in various sweet or savoury dishes.
Apparently, there are two camps when it comes to egg storage: the refrigerator camp and the room temperature camp. How do you store your eggs?
Additionally, do you know which groups of people should avoid consuming pasteurized eggs? Check out the safety tips from the Belgian Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC).
如果你想安全地享用鸡蛋,这里有几个小贴士:
🥚 在加入其他食材之前,将每个鸡蛋逐个打入玻璃杯中。如果鸡蛋有可疑的气味或颜色,那就不再新鲜了。
🥚 将鸡蛋放入一杯水中。如果它们沉到底部,那就是新鲜的。
If you want to enjoy them safely, here are a few tips:
🥚 Break your eggs one at a time into a glass before adding them to the rest of your preparation. If the egg has a suspicious smell or color, it is no longer good.
🥚 Place them in a glass of water. If they sink, they are fresh.
