10 月28日星期一，比利时王国移民局局长Freddy Roosemont先生与中国国家移民局副局长张勇先生在双方位于北京的新办公室举行了会晤。会谈中，双方强调了合作打击非法移民和促进积极的人文交流的重要性。罗斯蒙特先生指出，尽管比利时和中国是两个截然不同的国家，但在移民问题的最佳实践方面，两国可以相互学习很多东西。比利时驻华大使安博宁先生和比利时驻华使馆总领事席迪安先生也出席了会议。大使表示，他很高兴地获悉，疫情过后，访问比利时的中国人数和访问中国的比利时人数都在增加。Roosemont先生曾多次访问中国，很高兴再次回到中国。
On Monday 28 October , Mr. Freddy Roosemont, Director General of the Immigration Office of the Kingdom of Belgium met with Mr. Zhang Yong, Deputy Commissioner of the National Immigration Administration of China at their new offices in Beijing. During the meeting, the two emphasized the importance of collaboration to combat illegal migration and promote positive people-to-people exchanges. Mr. Roosemont noted that, even though Belgium and China are two very different countries, they can learn a lot from each other in terms of best practices with regards to migration. Ambassador of Belgium to China, Mr. Bruno Angelet and Consul General of the Belgian Embassy in Beijing, Mr. Christiaan Sys, also attended the meeting. Ambassador Angelet said he is happy to learn that the number of Chinese visiting Belgium and the number of Belgians visiting China are on the rise post-pandemic. Mr. Roosemont has visited China multiple times and was happy to be back once again.
