On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ireland and China, Ireland has been nominated as Country of Honour at the 4(th) China International Consumer Products Expo. This role demonstrates importance of the Chinese market and presents an opportunity to share the excellence and uniqueness of Ireland's sectoral strengths. Team Ireland in China aims to fully utilize this valuable opportunity to comprehensively showcase Ireland across several sectors, including beverages, food, fashion, agri-tech, life sciences, high-end consumer products, high-tech innovation, education, investment, tourism, and unique cultural experiences. It is also an opportunity to highlight the distinctive attraction of the Emerald Isle.
爱尔兰主宾国展馆位于海南国际会展中心4号馆，占地面积500平方米，由爱尔兰驻华大使馆和四个国家机构——爱尔兰食品局（Bord Bia）、爱尔兰贸易科技局（Enterprise Ireland）、爱尔兰投资发展局（IDA Ireland）和爱尔兰旅游局（Tourism Ireland）合作共同组织。
The Ireland Country of Honour Pavilion is situated in Hall 4 of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, covering an area of 500 square meters. The Pavilion is jointly organized by the Embassy of Ireland in China and four state agencies: Bord Bia, Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, and Tourism Ireland.
主宾国展馆将汇聚29家参展企业和机构代表，展示超过50家爱尔兰品牌的200余件展品。展馆设计突出爱尔兰特色，充分融合传统与现代元素，汇集传统古堡造型、威士忌酒庄、谷仓集市、科技投资教育展区、高尔夫体验区、时尚和文化长廊等亮点，展馆中央舞台还将不定时上演原汁原味爱尔兰踢踏舞。
The Country of Honour Pavilion will gather representatives from 29 participating companies and organizations, presenting over 200 exhibits from more than 50 Irish brands. Integrating traditional and modern elements, the design of the Pavilion showcases Irish characteristics, featuring: ancient castle architecture, whiskey distilleries, a barn market, a high-tech，investment and education area, a golf experience zone, a fashion and culture gallery, and other attractions. There will also be traditional Irish dance performances on the central stage of the Pavilion during the exhibition.

爱尔兰驻华使馆还将在消博会期间安排数场配套活动——包括盛大的主宾国展馆开馆仪式，生命科学对话，高等教育交流、爱尔兰之夜、采购对接会、新品发布会、爱尔兰主题时装秀等。其中，新品发布会上将展示5家爱尔兰机构及企业的最新产品，其中不乏中国乃至全球首发。爱尔兰之夜活动上将供应独具爱尔兰特色的美酒美食，还将呈现动感澎湃的爱尔兰歌舞表演，展示爱尔兰文化的魅力与活力。此外，六位来自爱尔兰的时装设计师也携旗下品牌首次登陆中国市场，在消博会时装周大秀上一展爱尔兰时尚产业风采。
During the Expo, the Embassy of Ireland will organize several side events, including the grand opening ceremony of the Country of Honour Pavilion, a life sciences seminar, higher education exchanges, an Ireland Culture night, procurement matchmaking meetings, a new product launch, and a fashion show by innovative Irish fashion designers. The new product launch will feature the latest offerings from five Irish organisations and enterprises, some of which will be making their debut in China and even globally. The Ireland Culture Night event will showcase the unique flavours of Ireland with its food and beverage offerings, accompanied by Irish music and dance performances. Additionally, six Irish fashion designers will debut their brands in the Chinese market for the first time during the Expo fashion week, demonstrating the elegance of Ireland's fashion industry.
作为主宾国，爱尔兰还推出了以爱尔兰曲棍球运动为主题的限定版吉祥物形象，身着绿色曲棍球服的“元元”和“宵宵”活力亮相，体现了两国友好交流和合作的美好愿景。爱尔兰驻华使馆和消博会组委会合作，精心设计限定版周边纪念品如吉祥物毛绒挂包、吉祥物环保礼品袋及吉祥物徽章等，旨在为现场观众带来愉快的体验。
As the Country of Honour, Ireland is delighted to introduce the special edition mascots themed around Irish hurling. Wearing green hurling jerseys, the adorable expo characters "Yuan Yuan" and "Xiao Xiao" symbolize the friendship and cooperation between the two countries. The Embassy of Ireland and the Expo Organizing Committee have also collaborated to design a series of merchandise for these special editions, including cellphone pouches, eco-bags, and pins, to enhance the on-site experience for visitors.
吉祥物/Mascots
爱尔兰驻华大使安黛文女士及使馆的经济和贸易参赞，各国家机构代表也将亲临消博会现场，与参展参会人士进行深入互动，进一步加强两国合作关系，为双方带来更多共赢机遇。
The Ambassador of Ireland to China, H.E. Ann Derwin, along with the Economic and Trade Counsellors from the Embassy, as well as representatives from various Irish state agencies, will all be present at the Ireland Country of Honour Pavilion and the side events. They shall extend their support to Irish brands participating in the event and engage with members of the public.
