近日，松阳县受邀参加在埃及开罗举行的第12届世界城市论坛。在与各国嘉宾的交流中，松阳分享了当地在传统村落保护和利用方面的经验。
Songyang county from Zhejiang was invited to participate in the 12th World Urban Forum held in Cairo, Egypt, recently. Songyang shared its experience in the preservation and utilization of traditional villages during exchanges with international delegates.
松阳拥有1800余年的建县历史，是典型的山区农业县，全县共保有100多座格局完整的传统村落。
Songyang, with a history of over 1,800 years as a county, is a typical mountainous agricultural county that maintains more than 100 traditional villages with intact layouts.
自2012年起，当地就以“拯救老屋”行动为切入口，系统开展传统村落的建筑、经济、文化修复工作，12年来，走出了一条“既能传承古老底蕴，又实现未来繁荣的传统村落现代化复兴之路”。
Since 2012, local government has systematically carried out architectural, economic, and cultural restoration work in traditional villages under the "Saving Old Houses" program. Over the past 12 years, Songyang has forged a path for the modern revival of traditional villages that both preserves their ancient essence and achieves future prosperity.
松阳县相关负责人说，松阳在保护传统建筑方面采纳了“修旧如旧”的原则，通过精心的规划和先进的修复技术，成功恢复了许多传统建筑的历史面貌。
Li Wei, a local official from Songyang county said that in preserving traditional architecture, Songyang has adopted the principle of "restoring the old as it was." Through meticulous planning and advanced restoration techniques, many traditional buildings have been restored to their historical appearance.
当地还注重传统建筑的活化利用，突出居住功能，将闲置建筑改造为特色民宿。这些民宿不仅保留了建筑历史风貌与文化特色，还融入现代的舒适便利，成为游客、旅居者及康养人群的理想选择。
The county emphasizes the adaptive reuse of traditional buildings, enhancing their residential function by transforming idle structures into distinctive homestays. These homestays not only retain the historical and cultural characteristics of the buildings but also incorporate modern comforts and conveniences, making them ideal choices for tourists, residents, and wellness-seekers.
近年来，当地累计发展民宿456家，经济体量超过1.5亿元人民币。此外，当地还结合文创、艺术等文化业态，在传统建筑中植入博物馆、美术馆等功能，打造了一批富有特色文化村、艺术家村，在保护中发展、在发展中保护。
The local area has developed 456 homestays, generating an economic volume exceeding 150 million RMB in recent years. Moreover, by integrating cultural and creative industries and arts, the county has embedded functions such as museums and art galleries into traditional buildings, creating a set of cultural and artistic villages.
世界城市论坛是由联合国人居署举办的国际会议，每两年召开一次，议题涉及城镇经济与社会发展等当今世界城市发展面临的紧迫问题。
The World Urban Forum, organized by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), is an international conference held biennially, addressing urgent issues related to urban economic and social development worldwide.
本届论坛的主题为“一切从家开始：推进地方行动建设可持续城市和社区”，与会方将重点关注可持续发展目标的本地化，以及应对当前全球挑战所需的地方行动和倡议。据埃方介绍，来自多个国家和地区的约3700人注册参加此次论坛。
This year’s theme is "It All Starts at Home: Local Actions for Sustainable Cities and Communities". Participants focus on localizing sustainable development goals and the local actions and initiatives to address current global challenges. According to the Egyptian part, about 3,700 individuals from various countries and regions have registered to attend the forum.
