The recent NIS Pre-K/K1 trip to the Nanjing Underwater World aquarium was an exciting hands-on learning experience that captivated the curiosity of our youngest learners. This visit, perfectly suited to the inquiry-based approach of our Early Years,built on students’ growing interest and curiosity about their classroom fish tanks. The trip to the aquarium allowed students to dive deeper into their inquiry about aquatic animals from around the world and their environments.幼儿园在本周组织了Pre-K和K1的孩子们前往南京海底世界水族馆进行了一次充满乐趣的探索之旅。这次互动性极强的学习体验，激发了孩子们对未知世界的好奇心，进一步点燃了他们的探索欲望。这次行程完美契合幼儿园的探究式教学，延续了孩子们对教室鱼缸的浓厚兴趣。通过这次水族馆之旅，孩子们更加深入地了解了来自全球的水生动物及其栖息环境。 The children were encouraged to ask questions and share their own ideas, sparking meaningful discussions and deepening their understanding of marine life. Their visit included hands-on learning and interaction with aquarists, who taught them about animal diets, culminating in a visit with penguins!活动过程中，孩子们积极提问，分享自己的见解，展开了有意义的讨论，深化了对海洋生物的认识。他们不仅仔细观察，欣赏人鱼表演，还得以与水族馆的养殖师互动，学习动物的饮食习性，并与可爱的小企鹅近距离接触，收获满满。 By immersing themselves in this unique environment, our students gained an authentic connection to their learning, reinforcing their sense of wonder about the natural world and helping them see how interconnected life on Earth truly is. With these discoveries, the children will apply their newfound knowledge to enhanceand create a healthier, more supportive environment for their fish in the Early Years Centre.通过沉浸在这一独特的环境中，孩子们与所学知识建立了真实的联系，增强了对自然界的敬畏，也让他们意识到地球上生命的紧密联系。凭借这些发现，孩子们将运用所学，在幼儿园为教室鱼缸的鱼类创造一个更健康、更有支持性的生活环境。
