HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024
在新春佳节这个充满欢乐和祥和的时刻，一群可爱的小朋友们和他们的老师们正在精心准备一场别开生面的“龘年”春节迎新汇演。他们希望通过自己的努力，为庆祝这个充满爱与温暖的节日献上最美好的祝福。
In the time of Spring Festival full of joy and peace, our children and teachers were preparing performances for the Spring Festival Show. They hoped that their dedicated efforts for the performances can deliver best wishes to each other, celebrating this festival with love and warmth.
这场表演的筹备工作紧张而有序。小朋友们热情高涨，他们在老师的指导下，认真学习每一个表演环节。
Preparations for the performances were fully made. The children were enthusiastic. Under the guidance of the teacher, they practiced their show wholeheartedly.
老师们则全力以赴，充分发挥自己的创意和才能，为孩子们设计一场富有传统韵味又充满现代气息的春节表演。
Teachers also tried their best to give full play to their creativity and talents to orchestra a Spring Festival Show with both traditional and modern charm.

The children were dressed in all kinds of costumes, colorful and flamboyant. On the stage, every child was a bright star, emitting a unique light.
开场校董Melanie和园长妈妈就为我们送上了新年的祝福。
To start the show, Executive Director Melanie Ng and the Principal Lindsea extended New Year's greetings.
中英文教师们表演了开场舞：《象王行》。他们舞技精湛，展现了象王的威严与力量，传递了新年的美好祝福和中华文化的魅力。让我们感受到了文化传承的价值和教师的才艺精神。
The Chinese and English teachers performed the opening dance: "The King of the Elephant". Their exquisite dancing skills, showed the majesty and strength of the elephant king, and conveyed the good wishes of the New Year and the charm of Chinese culture.

欢迎来到托班的十二生肖故事表演！这是一个充满童趣和想象力的精彩表演，憨憨的小奶牛，活泼的小兔子，机灵的小老鼠，通过生动活泼的表演形式，向大家展示了中国传统文化中关于十二生肖的美丽传说。
Chinese Zodiac is a children’s story full of childlike fun and imagination. The lively performance of the twelve animals unfolded the interesting story in front of the audience and displayed the precious traditional Chinese culture.
《侬好，小辰光》
Hello Morning Light
小二班的小朋友们为大家带来了别开生面的沪语童谣表演《侬好，小辰光》。孩子们通过生动活泼的表演，展示了沪语童谣的独特魅力，让观众感受到传统文化的温馨与美好。
The children of K1B brought us a unique performance of a Shanghainese nursery rhyme "Hello, Morning Light". It presented the unique charm of the dialect which is part of the traditional culture.
《青花瓷》
Blue-and-White Porcelain
中二班小朋友们带来的“青花瓷与牛仔串烧”表演，融合了传统与现代元素。孩子们穿着牛仔装展现活泼形象，同时融入青花瓷的舞蹈动作和道具，使表演既有古典之雅，又不失时尚活力。
The performance of "Blue-and-White porcelain and the Cowboy" by K2B combined the traditional and modern elements. In the dance, the children wore jeans to show their energy, and used the blue and white porcelains as props, adding both vigor and elegance to their show.
《小小京剧娃》
Peking Opera
瞧，中三班小朋友们扮演的小小京剧娃，年纪虽小，却身怀绝技。他们粉墨登场，唱念做打，一招一式都透着京剧的韵味。稚嫩的表演，向大家展示了京剧的魅力。更让人感受到了京剧艺术的传承和发扬。
Look! K2C children put on the Peking Opera. Although young, they have great special skills. They came on stage, singing, reading and playing, and showed the charm of Peking Opera.
《年的故事》
The Story of Nian
大班的小朋友们这次真的是太惊艳了！他们演的《年的故事》简直比春晚还要精彩。孩子们扮演各种角色，有的扮演村民，有的扮演年兽，孩子们生动地表演关于年的故事。他们肯定在背后付出了无数的努力和汗水。用自己独特的方式为大家讲述了一个充满年味和中华文化魅力的故事。
The children in K3 won lots of applause because of their fabulous performance of "The Story of Nian". The children played various roles - the villagers and the beast “Nian”. They must have worked hard for the show. They really brought the widely known traditional Chinese story to life.
《龙年到，福气到》
Good Luck in the Year of the Dragon
小一班小朋友们在《龙年到，福气到》的表演中巧妙结合了英文歌曲与中文的快板，展现出独特的魅力。孩子们的纯真表演与老师的快板配合得当，传递出幸福与祝福。
In the performance of "Good Luck in the Year of the Dragon ", children sang songs in both Chinese and English. They sang and danced to the teacher’s allegros, spreading happiness and blessing in the hall.
《“龙”重登场》

小三班的孩子们在《“龙”重登场》节目里他们用活泼的语言和优美的旋律，为我们开启了一个关于龙的全新视角。这些小表演者们用英文讲述龙的形象，展现了龙的独特魅力，还巧妙地把中西方文化元素结合在一起.
K1C children used their vivid language - English and the beautiful melody to tell us about the dragon and its symbolic meanings in the traditional Chinese culture. It was pleasant to enjoy the show and interesting to learn about the culture!
《拜年啦》
Happy New Year!
《拜年啦》这首歌在他们手里表现得真是太棒了，欢快的气氛到处都是，让人深深感受到了过年的味道。他们舞动的龙身灵活有力，跟着欢快的音乐节奏，好像都要飞到天上去。孩子们那清脆可爱的歌声一响起，我们好像和孩子们一起回到了那个毫无烦恼的童年时光。
The song "Happy New Year!" was so cheerful to hear during this time of the year. It was the festive joy and the authentic taste of the Chinese New Year. The dancing dragon moved up and down and around with agility and power, as if it was flying to the sky. The children's clear and lovely voice reminded us of the precious childhood time.
家委会的家委以及园长妈妈和老师们共同舞动长龙，象征着我们对新一年的美好祝愿。让我们共同祝愿龙年吉祥，家园和谐，孩子们茁壮成长，前程似锦！

在这场充满爱与温暖的“一起过龘年”春节表演中，我们的孩子用真诚和才艺，赢得了观众们的热烈掌声。这场表演不仅为维多利亚古美园的全体师生带来了欢乐，也为园区增添了浓厚的节日氛围。更重要的是，它让小朋友们更加深入地了解和热爱自己的民族文化，培养了他们对传统文化的传承意识。

In the Spring Festival Show, our children have won enthusiastic applause from the audience with their sincerity and talent. The performance not only brings joy to all the teachers and students, but also adds festivity to the school. More importantly, it deepens children’s understanding of and love of their own culture, and the importance of cultural inheritance.
May the Year of the Dragon bring us lot of bliss and luck! We also hope that the home-school cooperation can continue to create a nurturing environment for the children!
