November 7, 2024, was an important day for Victoria. On this day, Victoria kindergarten was officially accredited as the Reading Practice Center of the Children's Publishing House! As our partner, the Children's Publishing House will provide more quality age-appropriate picture books for Victoria children, promoting children's growth together with the school and parents!

Principal Lindsea expressed a warm welcome and sincere thanks to the guests! In her speech, Lindsea also put forward her ardent hope for the children, hoping that the completion of the reading base can better promote the children to become lifelong readers, and make Victoria a scholarly campus.

在信息爆炸的今天，我们都知道阅读对于孩子的整体发展有着重要的意义，我们真正理解什么是亲子阅读吗？知道如何让亲子阅读和学校阅读优势互补吗？清楚如何才能为孩子选到合适的绘本吗？卓伦绘本教育研究院创始人单静女士为我园家长带来了“小小阅读家，大大梦想地”主题工作坊，和家长共同探讨阅读话题。让我们一起告别只能看到具象图画的阅读，学习通过感受丰富图画来了解作者想要传递的思想和用意，尝试根据对图像的感知展开想象与思考，发展自己的阅读力和内心成长的力量。
In this age of overloaded information, it's becoming clearer to us that reading is of great significance to the overall development of children. Do we really know how to read to/with our children? Do we know how home reading and school reading can complement each other? Do we know how to choose the right picture books? To answer these questions, Ms. Shan Jing, Founder of Zhuolun Picture Book Education Research Institute, led a reading workshop for Victoria parents on the theme "Little Readers, Big Dream Place". The workshop showed us the right way to read - understanding the thoughts and intentions that the author intends to convey through pictures, using pictures to imagine, further developing our reading ability and inner growth power.
