Encouraging Children to Build Self-Confidence:
Seeing the World from a Different Perspective Can Truly Make You Amazing!
11月18日，由比利时瓦隆-布鲁塞尔驻华代表团、奇想国童书，携手卓伦绘本教育研究院、闵行区维亚幼儿园共同主办，邀请比利时绘本作者、插画家米歇尔·凡·泽夫分享其成为童书作者的经历、《给我画一个小王子》的创作故事和最新力作，并根据孩子们想象的世界，进行绘画创作。
On November 18, the event was jointly organized by the Wallonia-Bruxelles Delegation in China, Everafter Children's Books, the Zest Picture Book Education Research Institute, and Minhang District Victoria Kindergarten. Belgian picture book author and illustrator Michel Van Zeveren was invited to share his journey of becoming a children's book author, the creative process behind *Draw Me a Little Prince*, and his latest works. Additionally, he engaged in live drawing inspired by the imaginative worlds envisioned by the children.

米歇尔·凡·泽弗朗（Michel Van Zeveren）1970年出生于比利时根特，现居住于布鲁塞尔。大学里，他学习过动画设计，但相比于动画，他更喜欢插画课程，特别是儿童插画方面的课程，因为他很享受用图来讲述一个故事的过程。
Michel Van Zeveren, born in 1970 in Ghent, Belgium, currently resides in Brussels. He studied animation design at university but found himself more drawn to illustration courses, particularly those focused on children's illustrations. He discovered a passion for storytelling through pictures, which he found especially enjoyable.
米歇尔先生随后参观了校园，小朋友们热情地与大作家分享自己正在创作的小故事。米歇尔先生在校园墙面上即兴创作了一副生动有趣的作品，为维亚幼儿园增添了独特的艺术氛围。
Mr. Michel then visited the campus, where the children enthusiastically shared their little stories with the great writer. Mr. Michel spontaneously created a lively and interesting work on the campus walls, adding a unique artistic atmosphere to Victoria.

This is a story inspired by the classic tale “The Little Prince”, created by the author to encourage children to discover their own unique strengths. The story of the little lamb inspires children to build inner confidence, embrace and appreciate themselves, and develop a sense of self-efficacy. It helps them grow up with joy and confidence by their side!
在见面会中，米歇尔先生分享了塑造角色的灵感和技巧，激发了小朋友们对绘画和写作的兴趣。
米歇尔先生与孩子们一起在现场互动创作，孩子们在趣味的氛围下激发自我欣赏，用不一样的眼光看世界，给予自己自信的力量。
During the meet-and-greet, Mr. Michel shared the inspiration and techniques behind creating characters, sparking the children's interest in drawing and writing.
He collaborated with the children in an interactive creative session, where they explored self-expression in a fun and engaging atmosphere. This encouraged them to see the world from new perspectives, appreciate themselves, and build self-confidence.
