11月26日上午，第二届中国国际供应链促进博览会在北京开幕。国际商会秘书长约翰·丹顿在致辞中表示，运转良好的供应链和世界经济的发展，有赖于运作良好的贸易机制，其核心就是以世界贸易组织为代表的全球多边贸易体系。他指出，诚然，有些人宣称全球化已经结束了，还有人在鼓吹“脱钩”“断链”“小院高墙”，但世界各地的企业仍然希望支持自己的社区，支持自己的工人和家庭，它们愿意开展跨境贸易，因为只有这样才能够增进经济机遇的发展。在他看来，要实现这一点，就必须同中国合作，以继续保持运作良好的全球多边贸易体系。

The 2024 edition of the Global Supply Chain Promotion Report was officially released during the ongoing China International Supply Chain Expo on Nov 26. The report summarizes the latest status of the global supply chain promotion system, pointing out that the global supply chain is developing towards regionalization, diversification, digitization, and green practices, and emphasizing the localization of key raw material supply.

From Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, Beijing will host two major international winter sports events: the ISU Speed Skating World Cup and the FIS Snowboard and Freestyle Ski Big Air World Cup. Event preparations, including ice-making and snow production, have entered the final stages. The Beijing leg of this season's ISU Speed Skating World Cup will feature over 260 athletes from 24 countries and regions.

As China includes more countries in the 144 hour visa free transit policy, by Nov 24, the border inspection station in Beijing Daxing International Airport issued five times the number of 144 hour temporary entry permits compared to the same period last year, and more than 30000 foreigners have enjoyed the policy.

A 360-degree intelligent panoramic vehicle detection system has been used on Beijing Subway Line 2. The system can automatically detect more than a thousand points of the train in just 5 minutes using image processing technology and intelligent recognition algorithms to identify abnormal situations of visible key components in the daily maintenance of trains.

近日，北京地铁2号线上线了一套360°车辆智能全景检测系统，只需5分钟左右，便可实现列车千余个点位自动检测，提高了列车车顶、车侧和车下走行部的检修作业的质量和效率。360°车辆智能全景检测系统是一套采用图像处理技术、智能识别算法，实现对列车日常检修中外观可视关键部件松动、脱落、破损、变形、缺失、异物等异常情况进行识别的检测设备。

The 1st Ancient and Famous Tree Exhibition is underway in Beijing’s Miyun District, showcasing over a hundred works related to the rich culture of ancient trees in the district. The district has a total of 1213 ancient trees, including 102 first grade ancient trees that are over 300 years old and 1111 second grade ancient trees which are 100 to 300 years old.

From Nov 26 to April 13, 2025, a digital art exhibition dedicated to Chinese famous poet Su Shi will be held in Beijing. Focusing on Su Shi and his poems, the exhibition integrates Chinese traditional culture with technology. Su Shi was a well-known writer, poet, calligrapher and painter of the Northern Song Dynasty.
