The Beijing segment of the 2024 Young Sinologist Program has recently concluded. 25 overseas young sinologists from Thailand, South Korea, Italy, Russia, Ethiopia and other countries visited Beijing to engage in cultural exchanges, building a bridge between China and the world.

According to data from Beijing Customs, since the launch of the "Double 11" shopping promotion, the number of cross-border e-commerce transactions has exceeded 600,000, with the most popular commodities being perfume and cosmetics, generating over 85 million yuan in sales. Import deals exceeded 220,000, with a value of about 59 million yuan, and about 430,000 export deals were made, with a value of about 35 million yuan.
北京海关昨天披露的数据显示，自双11大促启动以来，其监管验放跨境电商零售进出口清单超60万票，货值超8500万元，以香水化妆品为主。其中进口清单超22万票，货值约5900万元；出口清单约43万票，货值约3500万元。
2024京剧文化季开幕

The 2024 Beijing Opera Culture Season kicked off at the Mei Lanfang Grand Theater and will continue until December 23. With information about 33 species of Chinese raptors derived from 6,000 rescue cases, the book “Fly! King of Birds” was released in the Institute of Zoology in the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is the first original picture book of raptor protection in China. At the same time, a raptor photo exhibition themed "Being a 'wild' friend of nature" is held at the National Museum of Zoology.
