E-Town Robot Club, China's first intelligent robot club, was officially established in Beijing E-Town. Among the 100 members are Beijing Embodied Intelligent Robot Innovation Center, unicorn enterprises in the robotics industry, leading humanoid robot companies, and major medical robot enterprises. 

近日，国内首个智能机器人俱乐部——亦庄机器人俱乐部在北京经济技术开发区（北京亦庄）正式成立。俱乐部成员有具身智能机器人创新中心、机器人“独角兽”企业、人形机器人领航企业、医疗机器人龙头企业等。

Located in Beijing’s Daxing District, the Xingcheng Industrial Park was recently certified by the Energy Investment Professional Committee of Investment Association of China as a pilot area for the "Zero Carbon Park" standard. It’s the first park in the city to be built in accordance with the "Zero Carbon Park Evaluation Standards". The park will have a low-carbon green technology innovation platform, public reception rooms and other spaces to promote the upgrading of regional green technology industries.

“大兴西片区——兴城产业园”近日被中国投资协会能源投资专委会授牌认证为“零碳园区”标准试点，这也是本市首个按照《零碳园区评价标准》打造的全新零碳园区。这个园区将打造低碳绿色科技创新平台、公共会客厅等特色空间，推动区域绿色科技产业升级。

Hosted by Beijing Publications Distribution Group, a book festival is underway until Dec 10, offering over 100,000 titles published by hundreds of publishing entities across China.

The 36th Xiangshan Red Leaf Festival ended on Nov 10. The 31-day festival welcomed over 1 million visitors. Tourists from outside Beijing accounted for 60% to 70% of the total number of visitors.

第36届“北京晚报·香山红叶节”11月10日落下帷幕。此次红叶节共持续31天，接待游客超100万人次。外地游客是香山赏红的主打客流，约占游客总量的60%至70%。

The 2024 National Excellent Young Art Talents Performance Exhibition is ongoing in Beijing. The one-month event will feature 13 drama, music, dance, folk art, and acrobatics performances and will promote more than 110 young artists.

日前，由中央宣传部、中国文联和相关全国文艺家协会共同主办的“艺苑撷英——2024年全国优秀青年艺术人才展演”在京举行。将在一个月的时间里为观众带来涵盖戏剧、音乐、舞蹈、曲艺、杂技五个艺术门类的13场演出，重点推介戏曲净行、民族弓弦乐青年演奏家、舞蹈新人、相声小品评书等青年曲艺演员、杂技魔术滑稽青年演员共110余人。

The "Walking on Beijing Central Axis" activity was launched in Beijing’s Xicheng District on Nov 10, introducing eight routes for strolling and cycling, highlighting unique sites related to the Central Axis in the district such as the Grand Canal, time-honored brands, intangible cultural heritage sites, traditional opera and performing arts venues. 

11月10日，西城区“行走中轴线”活动启动。西城区文化和旅游局围绕“古都文化”“红色文化”“京味文化”“创新文化”，挖掘西城区中轴线遗产点位及其周边历史文化资源，形成八条各具特色的线路，供游人漫步、骑行。八条线路以中轴线为核心，辐射并涵盖了大运河、戏曲、老字号、非遗、演艺空间等西城区代表性的文旅资源。以城市漫步和骑行两种方式开展，面向国内外游客开放。

The 39th Ice and Snow Happy Season is ongoing in Beijing’s Yanqing District until Feb 28, 2025. Over a hundred culture and tourism activities will be held, covering ice and snow amusement parks, winter sports, beautiful lanterns, competitions, and intangible cultural heritage.

11月8日，延庆区举办旅游发展大会，并全面启动第39届冰雪欢乐季。从2024年11月8日持续至2025年2月28日，百余项文旅活动将带领广大游客掀起冰雪热潮。百余项活动覆盖畅玩冰雪乐园、畅享冰雪运动、畅赏花灯美景、畅观冰雪赛事、畅爽私汤美宿、畅游非遗过大年六大板块。

As part of the development of the Liangma River International Waterfront, the river's route will be extended south of the 4th Ring Road. Once this 18-kilometer world-class water tourism route is open, visitors will be able to travel by boat directly to Beijing Municipal Administrative Center. The major project of the Liangma River Economic Belt will be carried out in three phases.

为了提升亮马河游船体验，亮马河航线将延伸到四环以下河段，这条18公里世界级水上旅游精品航线通航后，游客可乘船直抵北京城市副中心，欣赏西海子公园、三庙一塔景区、千荷泻露桥、三大文化设施等大运河沿岸风景。亮马河文化经济带按照“整体规划、分期实施”原则，重点项目分三期推进实施。

A 3.4-kilometer long new avenue opened in Beijing connecting the old and new areas of Changping District. The garden-style new road features begonias and Chinese roses.

昌平区2024年林荫大道建设工程近日完工并投用。工程以“全林荫、添色彩”为理念，打造了一条连接昌平新城与老城的舒适林荫花园路。昌平新一期林荫大道项目全长约3.4公里，总建设面积约5.6公顷，种植了海棠、红叶李、月季等观赏性较强的植物。

A firefighting themed bus was officially launched in Beijing on Nov 9, China’s 33rd National Fire Day. The bus is decorated with firefighting slogans, cartoon images, and fire safety information educating passengers. 18 such themed buses will be on duty along the route of Bus 119. There are 19 stops along the 8.9-kilometer route of the Bus 119, which serves an average of 6000 passengers daily. 119 is also the emergency phone number for the fire department in China. 

11月9日是第33个全国消防日，东城区消防救援支队联合公交集团电车分公司打造的119路“定制版”消防主题公交车正式上线，为消防安全宣传开辟了新阵地。119路公交车是全国工人先锋号线路，全程8.9公里，共计19站，日均客流量6000余人次。陆续上线的18辆119路消防主题公交车，车厢内外有消防标语、卡通消防员形象、火灾逃生知识等内容，乘客能轻松了解和掌握消防知识。
