在希腊开幕
An exhibition titled "Beijing's Double Olympics and Chinese Culture" opened in Athens, Greece, as part of the efforts by the Beijing Olympic City Development Association (BODA) to further promote culture exchange between the two cities. Photographs showcasing the enthusiasm of Chinese people for hosting the Olympic Games, as well as Olympic medals and copies of famous Chinese paintings that inspired opening and closing ceremonies are on display until November 14.
近日，由北京奥运城市发展促进会主办的“北京‘双奥’与中华文化”主题展览在希腊雅典市政府新文体中心开幕。本次展览占地480平方米，由“北京奥运会和北京冬奥会开闭幕式”、“北京奥运会和北京冬奥会形象景观”和“北京奥运会和北京冬奥会场馆设计”三个部分组成。展览将持续至11月14日，展览期间将免费对希腊社会公众开放。展览结束后，部分展览内容将移至大学或教育机构继续供社会公众参观。
量子科技未来产业园

The Zhongguancun Quantum Technology Future Industrial Park was unveiled, aiming to establish China’s position in quantum information technology, quantum computing, quantum secure communication, quantum precision measurement, and quantum materials and devices globally, and create a cluster of quantum technology enterprises.
日前，中关村量子科技未来产业园揭牌。产业园将瞄准世界量子物理与量子信息学前沿和国家在量子信息技术的战略定位，聚集量子计算、量子保密通信、量子精密测量及量子材料与器件骨干力量，实现量子科技产业集群化发展。

首家医疗器械企业投产
The first medical equipment enterprise in Daxing Airport Comprehensive Support Zone started production. Beijing CRS Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. is a dental implant manufacturing enterprise that integrates scientific research, education, production and sales. It is a leading company in the dental implant industry in China and the first enterprise to settle in the International Biomedical Park of Daxing Airport Comprehensive Support Zone.
大兴机场综保区首家医疗器械企业近日投产。北京卡尔斯医疗器械有限公司是一家集科研、教育、产销于一体的牙种植体生产企业，在口腔种植界处于国内领先地位，也是首个入驻大兴机场综保区国际生物医药园的企业。
北京首例城市森林示范型绿地
摘取“绿色奥斯卡”
The Guangyanggu Urban Forest Park project in Beijing’s Xicheng District won the "Environmental Sustainability Project Award" and the "Landscape Improvement and Public Space" award at the 22nd International Garden City Competition Global Finals. The competition was founded in 1997 and is dubbed the “Green Oscar”.
在第22届国际花园城市竞赛全球总决赛中，北京西城区“广阳谷城市森林公园”项目斩获“环境可持续项目奖”金奖，并凭借在“景观改善与公共空间”评审中的最高分，夺得项目类唯一特别奖。国际花园城市竞赛创办于1997年，被誉为“绿色奥斯卡”。

Beijing’s Municipal Health Commission published a list of 85 medical institutions providing pediatric night emergency services in the city.

北京2024年农村供水改造任务提前超额完成
21个山村告别高峰期用水紧张
The rural water supply renovation work, one of Beijing's key projects in 2024, has been completed ahead of schedule. Water supply in 21 mountain villages have been improved, and it is expected that by the end of next year, 300 villages’ water supply stations in Beijing will be upgraded. Currently, construction of about 1/3 of the projects has begun.
北京市2024年重要民生实事项目农村供水改造任务已提前超额完成，21个山村的供水条件得到改善。预计到明年年底前，全市将有300处村庄供水站完成标准化改造。目前全市约三分之一的项目已开工建设。
冰雪季来啦！
北京将迎来三大国际冰雪赛事
From late November to early December, three major international winter sports events will be held in Beijing. From November 29 to December 1, the 2024-2025 ISU World Cup Speed Skating (Beijing) will be held at the National Speed Skating Oval, with the 2024-25 FIS Snowboard and Freeski Big Air World Cup to be held at the Big Air Shougang during the same period. From December 6 to 8, the 2024-25 ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Tour (Beijing) will be held at the Capital Indoor Stadium.
今年11月底至12月初，北京将迎来三大国际冰雪赛事。11月29日至12月1日，2024-2025赛季国际滑联速度滑冰世界杯（北京站）；11月29日至12月1日，2024-2025赛季国际雪联单板及自由式滑雪大跳台世界杯；12月6日至8日，2024-2025赛季国际滑联短道速滑世界巡回赛（北京站）。
宋庄试点“艺术进乡村”
艺术家和村民共创13幅墙绘
Songzhuang Town in Beijing's Tongzhou District is piloting a program-Bring Art to Countryside, inviting artists and villagers to paint together. 13 wall paintings have been drawn. After Lamazhuang Village, the project will continue to other villages and more artists are expected to join.
北京市通州区宋庄镇在喇嘛庄试点“艺术进乡村”，邀请艺术家和村民交朋友，双方已联手为村里绘制了13幅墙绘。继喇嘛庄后，宋庄镇“艺术进乡村”工程将继续向其他村庄推广。接下来，会有越来越多的艺术家深度融入乡村生活、参与美丽乡村建设。
台湖打造北京城市副中心
“演艺明珠”和数据高地
Beijing's Sub Center implemented the Three Year Action Plan for High Quality Development of Taihu Performing Arts Town in a bid to create a high profile arts center in the district. By 2026, Taihu is expected to become a vibrant performing arts hub.
近日，北京城市副中心印发实施《台湖演艺小镇高质量发展三年行动计划（2024—2026年）》。台湖镇将不断完善“特而精、小而美、活而新”的特色演艺小镇形态和功能，全力打造副中心演艺明珠、数据高地，到2026年初步建成独具演艺特色、彰显文化自信、汇聚多元活力与文化魅力的演艺文化特色小镇。
