Victoria is home to two prestigious Selective Science Schools that have consistently excelled in the VCE examinations, drawing many student applicants. JMSS conducts exams for grades 9 and 10 students applying for admission to grades 10 and 11 the following year. Similarly, EBS administers exams for grades 10 and 11 students seeking access to grades 11 and 12 in the subsequent year.

To apply for enrolment at John Monash Science School, all prospective students must complete a formal Entry Assessment. Entry for Year 10&11 in 2026 will close on May 2025.

EBS
Elizabeth Blackburn Sciences坐落在University High School校园内，为维州教育部和墨尔本大学Bio21学院合办。Bio21是澳大利亚成熟的医学和生物技术研究地。学校注重数学和自然科学，考试的目的是选择在这些领域擅长并充满激情的学生，对读写能力也有较高要求。
Elizabeth Blackburn Sciences focuses on Mathematics and the Sciences; the testing will be designed to select students that are passionate and proficient in these areas, as well as demonstrate a high level of literacy. EBS exposes students to the latest innovations and excellence in teaching contemporary science and mathematics in partnership with the University of Melbourne and Bio21. The entry tests are in the middle of the year. Students in Years 10/11 can apply for Years 11/12 in the next year.

入学考试
第一阶段：所有潜在学生在指定的日期和时间进行注册并完成入学评估。通过第一阶段的学生将被要求参加现场面试，包括个人面试、书面任务和小组任务。面试信息将通过电子邮件通知家长/监护人。
The first stage of our entrance process is for all prospective students to register and complete a formal assessment on a specific date and time. Students who proceed to stage two of their application will be requested to attend an interview day with EBS staff onsite at Elizabeth Blackburn Sciences. This day will comprise of an individual interview as well as written and group tasks. Interview information will be communicated to parents/carers via email.

Qs Term 3 Level 9, 10 Elite course includes Mathematics, English, Writing, and Science. The course meets the latest standards of the examination organisation. The course has cultivated many students who have performed well in the selection and will lay a solid foundation for future VCE examinations.
