什么是VTAC资料审核保证？
VTAC往年一直鼓励特殊入学/奖学金申请者尽早提交各项申请文件，以便提早初步审核，给学生预留提交补充材料的时间。
Applicants are encouraged to submit documentation early to allow for preliminary review.
今年设置的“Guaranteed VTAC review”日期为9月20日。在此之前VTAC会保证帮助申请者检查资料是否有误、是否需要提交补充材料等；在此之后递交的申请VTAC则不会再保证检查。
特殊申请 (SEAS)
存在以下四种情况的学生们都可以申请这项政策：
There are four categories in SEAS. You can apply for all the categories that are relevant to your situation, so long as you apply to each category for a different reason.
Category 1: 个人状况。包括年龄、原住民背景、家庭或学校为偏远地区、非英语背景，家中第一个大学生等因素。
Personal information and location. This category includes age, living or school location, under-representation of a gender in a course or field of study, recognition as an Indigenous Australian, recognition for being from a non-English speaking background and recognition for being the first in your family to attend tertiary study.
Category 2: 不利的财务背景
Disadvantaged financial background
Category 3: 残疾或者其他健康状况
Disability or medical condition
Category 4: 面临困境
Difficult circumstances

VTAC“志愿系统”
VTAC允许学生选择至少一个、最多八个大学专业作为志愿。必须按照优先顺序列出每个课程，将最想上的课程放在列表的最上方。
VTAC allows you to select a minimum of one and maximum of eight course preferences. You must list each course in order of preference, with the one you most want at the top of your list.
每一轮只能收到一个offer，即列表中优先级最高的那个。
You can only receive one offer in each round and that will be the highest listed course you are selected for. This is why you must list your courses in order of preference.
VTAC对于填报志愿的几点建议：
只列出符合基本要求和录取标准的课程。
只列出乐意就读的课程。
始终将最想学的课程列在首位。
在列表中包含一些“保底选项”（即可以通过这些pathway课程进入更高优先级的课程）。
可能需要更改志愿的情况包括：
对想要学习的课程改变了想法。
有新的课程可选。
申请的某个课程被取消，将其替换。
更改志愿不需要支付费用，可以在规定的时间内无限次更改志愿。
There is no cost involved in changing your preferences. As long as you have paid your course application processing fee, you can change your preferences as many times as you like within the specified periods.
