2020年工人体育场启动保护性改造复建，改造后总建筑面积约38.5万平方米，总座席约65000个。2023年，遵循“传统外观、现代场馆”的原则，北京工人体育场成为“全国首批、首都首座”国际标准专业足球场正式回归。

It incorporates representative curve elements of the landscape, pursuing a considerable and enjoyable urban landscape, while creating more gathering spaces.
中轴广场采用一体化智能灯杆，其造型巧妙与体育场的设计风格相呼应，整体纤细挺拔，优雅而不失力量感。这些灯杆不仅满足了广场地面的基础照明需求，还为主体建筑提供了泛光照明。同时，这些智能灯杆集成了监控、音响和WIFI等多种功能，为广场的安全监控、音乐播放和无线网络覆盖提供了便捷高效的解决方案。
The central axis square adopts an integrated intelligent light pole, which cleverly echoes the design style of the sports stadium. The overall slender and upright, elegant yet powerful. These poles not only meet the basic lighting needs of the square ground, but also provide floodlighting for the main building. At the same time, these poles integrate various functions such as monitoring, audio, and WIFI, providing convenient and efficient solutions for safety monitoring, music playback, and wireless network coverage in the square.
新工体罩棚秉承开口面积最大化原则，照明结合70%~90%高透光率聚碳酸酯板，使建筑外部灯光能够透过罩棚映射到场馆内部，解决了场馆内部氛围照明需求，不仅将进一步提升观众观赛、观演的体验感，更将助力绿色低碳建筑目标的实现。
The new construction shed adheres to the principle of maximizing the opening area, combining lighting with 70%~90% high transmittance polycarbonate panels, allowing external lighting to be reflected into the interior of the venue through the shed, solving the lighting needs of the atmosphere inside the stadium. This not only further enhances the audience's experience of watching matches and performances, but also helps to achieve the goal of green and low-carbon buildings.

In order to improve the convenience of canopy lighting maintenance, our primary focus is on the principle of lighting layout based on maintenance tracks. This strategy aims to maximize the safety and convenience of personnel during installation and maintenance operations, while meeting the requirements of lighting effects.
The renovated Beijing Workers' Stadium will have a football field as its core, public space, commercial space, and digital space as carriers, creating a high-quality business, tourism, cultural and sports complex, forming a city landmark, cultural and sports business card, and fashion commercial center of the capital Beijing, returning to public life with a brand new appearance.
