时间跨度 公元前753年 — 公元774年。

包含罗马王政时期、共和国时期,帝国时期,继业者们的兴衰,共和的分崩离析,帝国内战,帝国分裂,蛮族王国,反罗马势力,军事发展,帝国与基督教,货币制度,文化与饮食。

全文使用BC(公元前)与AD(公元后)来表示纪元。
