2024年5月25日，9时许，“海棠花开 寻梦蔚蓝”三亚救助短肢领航鲸放归仪式在三亚海昌水野救助中心顺利举行。我校中学部此前在上个月的义卖捐赠活动中，选出捐赠额最多的两个班级的学生代表，以及他们的家长和中学部的董校一同参加了此次搁浅领航鲸“海棠”的放归仪式。此次活动不仅向学生传授了关爱海洋生物和保护生态环境的重要性，同时也宣扬了爱心公益的精神。
On May 25, 2024, at 9 o'clock, the homing ceremony of the "Haitang" the short-limbed Pilot Whale was successfully held at the Sanya Haichang Shuiye Rescue Center. In the charity sale last month, our student representatives, their parents and principal Charles participated in the homing ceremony of the stranded pilot whale "Haitang". This activity not only taught our students the importance of caring for marine life and protecting the environment, but also promoted the spirit of public welfare.

活动现场，三亚外国语学校的两名学生代表与家长和校长一同见证了搁浅领航鲸海棠重获自由的重要时刻。在仪式上，学生们认真聆听专家的讲解，了解领航鲸的生活习性和保护意义，深刻认识到海洋生态保护的重要性。
At the event, two student representatives from SLS secondary, together with parents and the principal, witnessed the important moment when the stranded pilot whale regained its freedom. At the ceremony, the students listened carefully to the explanations of the experts, learned about the living habits and conservation significance of the pilot whale, and deeply realized the importance of marine ecological protection.
参加放归仪式的学生代表纷纷表示，此次活动让他们受益匪浅，既增长了见识，又激发了他们关爱海洋生物、保护生态环境的责任感。他们表示，回到学校后，要将此次活动的感受和收获分享给同学们，倡导大家一起行动起来，为保护海洋生态环境贡献自己的力量。
The student representatives who participated in the ceremony said that the event benefited them a lot, which not only increased their knowledge, but also stimulated their sense of responsibility to care for marine life and protect the ecological environment. They said that after returning to school, they would share their feelings and gains from this activity with the students, and advocate everyone to take action together to contribute to the protection of the marine ecological environment.
