The Student Union of
Sanya Foreign Language School has been established!
为我校学生会能有效开展学生工作，充分发挥学生的主体作用。同时，也鼓励学生除了在校学习必要的科学文化知识外，可以投入学校的活动中，积极锻炼自己，为此，三亚外国语学校中学部成立了学生会。
For our student union to effectively work as planned, let students to participate in school activities and learn outside the classroom, our school has decided to organize a student union.
学生会是学校联系广大同学的桥梁和纽带，其宗旨是倡导学生开展自我教育、自我管理，团结和引导全校学生热爱祖国、奋发成才。学生会通过正当民主渠道，反映全体学生的建议和意见，积极参与学校民主管理，自觉维护校规校纪，倡导良好的校风、学风，促进学生之间的团结，协助学校建设良好的教学秩序，优化学生学习、生活环境。开展各种健康有益，突出学校特色的课外活动，努力为我校学生进步与成才创造条件。
The purpose of the student union is to advocate students to carry out self-education and self-management, and to unite and guide all students to love the school and work hard to become better. Through a fair and just channel, the student union reflects the suggestions and opinions of all students, promotes unity among students, assists the school in building a good campus atmosphere, and optimizes the learning and living environment of students.
在班主任的推荐下或同学的自愿报名，学生填写了《学生会竞聘报名表》。
Under the recommendation of the homeroom teacher or the voluntary registration of students, the student fills in the "Student Union Competition Registration Form".

学校根据报名的同学组织了初中部和高中部的竞选演讲。并邀请了中学部校长董校，党委书记刘老师、团委书记王老师担任此次评委。
The school organized campaign speeches for the junior high school and high school according to the students who signed up. Charles, principal of the secondary school, Mr. Liu, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Mrs. Wang, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, were invited to serve as judges.
经过同学们的积极竞选，最后评选了34名同学成功加入学生会。
After a fair trial, 34 students finally enter the student union.
在5月27日的升旗仪式上，学校为学生会同学颁发聘书和徽章，以表鼓励，希望他们在今后的日子里，发挥学生会的作用，让校园生活越来越好。
At the flag-raising ceremony on May 27, the school issued letters of appointment and badges to the students of the Student Union to show encouragement, hoping that they will play the role of the Student Union in the future and make our campus life better.
最后，由中学部校长董校，对学生会的同学做了鼓励性总结发言，希望学生会的同学能不忘初心，砥砺前行，为我们的校园生活增添一抹亮丽的光彩。
Finally, principal Charles made an encouraging concluding speech to the students of the student union.He said:“I hope that the students of the Student Union will not forget their original intentions, forge ahead, and add a touch of brilliance to our campus life.”
