另外，容易搞混的表达还有：
表达“do something with your eyes closed” 或“do something with your eyes shut” 的意思是“能轻而易举地或很好地做某事”，就像中文里说的“闭着眼睛都可以做到”。

distant：这里的distant，形容的是时间概念上的遥远。
distant单指“时、空间距离的遥远”以及“人际关系的疏远”，distant所指称的，相较于far，remote，通常比较“具体”，
或就算不具体也已知相当遥远的距离，在表示距离的数字后面也只会用distant，而不会用remote或是far，例子如下：

值得注意的是，in the not too distant past/future这一固定用语中须用 distant，但在没有 not too 的 in the distant/remote past/future 中，两者却又可互换。
