一、教学内容分析
1.主题语境:人与社会在运动竞技领域中,通过个人努力和团队精神实现“更快、更高、更强”的体育精神。
2.文本解读:本单元从不同的角度,介绍了不同国家的杰出运动员或运动团队,包括许海峰、Wayne Gretzky、Yelena Isinbayeva、Stephen Curry、中国女排等,讲述了他们是如何凭借永不放弃的信念、坚持不懈的努力、钢铁股的意志和团结一致的团队力量赢得比赛、超越自我、走向成功的。通过本单元的学习,学生能够对自我提出更高的要求,并通过自己的努力实现目标。
二、教学目标
此单元的主要目标是帮助学生了解和认识到体育运动的魅力和精神,让他们在学习过程中体会到更快、更高、更强的运动精神。这种教育方式有助于培养学生的积极心态和价值观,促进他们的全面发展。此外,通过这一单元的学习,学生将掌握与运动相关的词汇和表达方式,提高他们的英语应用能力。
本单元主要围绕竞技体育展开,涉及到的内容包括各种运动项目、运动员的奋斗故事、运动精神等。学生将通过阅读、听力、口语练习和写作等环节,全面了解这一主题。
三、教学流程
The Return of the Champions
Step 1: Leading in & Learning Aims
Task 1: Leading in
1. Explain the title of the passage, especially the word "Return”(=> come back);
2. Enjoy the video and feel the return moment when the Chinese
Women 's Volleyball team won the champions:
3. Show their own feelings after the video;
4. Answer: Was the champions won by one person?
Task 2: Learning Aims
You are expected
1.to fully understand the text and the structure of the passage.
2. to develop the awareness of fighting spirit, team spirit and cooperation spirit, using them in your study.
3. and to imitate writing a short passage according to Para.1
(设计意图)从文章标题出发,引出女排夺冠回归时刻,并播放视频,让学生体会夺冠那一刻的心情及感受,从而引出排球运动的精神-----团队精神。同时明了本节课的学习目标,自然而然导入课堂学习。

2. Enjoy the 2016 Rio event.

In 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Chinese Women Volleyball Team Successively defeated Brazil, Holland and finally won over Serbia, gaining back its Olympic gold medal again after a whole 12 years.
