8月13日至15日，由寰球中东公司和寰球上海公司与合作伙伴ExidaSP组成联合体中标的阿尔及利亚国家石油公司（SONATRACH）年产4万吨脲醛预缩物（UFC-85）项目在上海召开项目开工会并举行合同签约仪式。SONATRACH、Exida SP代表及上海公司、中东公司项目执行团队共40余人参加会议。该项目是寰球海外业务执行"同船出海"策略以来在MENA地区签约的首个下游项目。
From August 13th to 15th, the kick-off meeting and contract signing ceremony for the annual 40,000-ton Urea-Formaldehyde condensate (UFC-85) project, which was awarded by the ExidaSP-HQC association for the Algerian National Oil Company (SONATRACH), was held in Shanghai. Representatives from SONATRACH and Exida SP, as well as the project execution teams from the HQSH and HQC ME companies, with more than 40 people in total, attended the meeting. This is the first downstream project in MENA region since HQC has implemented its "going global together" strategy for overseas operations

SONATRACH规划发展部主任Barka先生在致词中强调了脲醛浓缩物项目的重要性，对联合体的实力表示认可，并对联合体团队在前期准备过程中付出的努力表示赞赏和感谢。联合体与会各方领导回顾了在投标报价阶段与客户的友好沟通，并承诺将在项目中为客户提供国际一流的工程设计服务。
Mr. Barka, the SONATRACH Research & Development Director , emphasized the importance of the UFC85 project in his speech, recognized the strength of the consortium, and expressed appreciation and gratitude for the efforts made by the consortium team during the preliminary preparation process. The leaders of the consortium parties attending the meeting recalled the friendly communication with the client during the bidding stage, and promised to provide the client with world-class engineering design services in the project.

脲醛浓缩物项目包括FEED设计、EPCC选商两个阶段工作，项目总工期20个月。这一项目的落地，是2023年7月18日《中华人民共和国和阿尔及利亚民主人民共和国联合声明》发布后，寰球公司在“新阿尔及利亚”愿景和共建“一带一路”倡议框架下，深化两国企业在化工领域合作的示范项目；也是寰球公司贯彻落实集团公司及中油工程“两优化”工作要求，积极拓展高端高附加值业务，推进高质量发展的工作实践；更是上海公司、中东公司践行寰球公司“同船出海”市场策略，推动寰球公司传统优势化工技术在国际市场开拓发展的具体举措。
The UFC85 Project involves two phases of work: FEED design and EPCC contractor selection, with an overall project duration of 20 months. The implementation of this project is a demonstration of the deepening cooperation between the enterprises of the two countries in the field of chemical industry under the "New Algeria" vision and the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, following the issuance of the Joint Statement between the People's Republic of China and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria on July 18, 2023. It also represents HQC's commitment to implementing the "Two Optimizations" work requirements of the CNPC and CPEC, actively expanding high-end, high-value-added businesses, and promoting high-quality development practices. Furthermore, it is a concrete measure for the HQSH and HQC ME to implement the head quarter's "going global together" market strategy, promoting the development of the HQC's traditional advantageous chemical technologies in the international market.

注：与我国现行标准《脲醛预缩液》（LY/T 1180-2006）中列出的UFC-54、UFC-60、UFC-62相比，该项目生产的UFC-85有效成分浓度比UFC-62高37%，产品中甲醇含量低于仅为LY/T 1180-2006技术要求中的3.5%，是面向国际市场的高端化工产品。采用脲醛预缩液生产脲醛胶与采用浓度37％的甲醛制胶相比，可以节约25%~30%的制胶能耗，此外还可有效降低尿素对甲醛的摩尔比，减少人造板的甲醛释放量。
Note: Compared with UFC-54, UFC-60, and UFC-62 listed in China's current standard "Urea-Formaldehyde Precondensate" (LY/T 1180-2006), the UFC-85 produced by this project has an effective component concentration that is 37% higher than UFC-62, and the methanol content in the product is only 3.5%, which is lower than the technical requirement in LY/T 1180-2006, making it a high-end chemical product targeting the international market. The use of urea-formaldehyde condensate to produce urea-formaldehyde adhesive can save 25% to 30% of the adhesive production energy consumption compared with using 37% formaldehyde for adhesive production. In addition, it can effectively reduce the molar ratio of urea to formaldehyde, thereby reducing the formaldehyde emission.
