Vietnamese HRC import buyers pause on Chinese volatility
Kallanish（开阑商务信息咨询）报道，随着铁矿石价格走强，上周越南市场上的中国热轧卷价格也随之上涨。上海期货交易所的钢材期货大涨帮助推高了周中的报价，但在需求疲软的情况下，上周五的价格回落继续给市场带来不确定性和困惑。
Chinese hot rolled coil prices in Vietnam lifted last week in tandem with firming iron ore,Kallanish notes. The surge in steel futures on the Shanghai Futures Exchange helped push up offer prices mid-week but a downward retreat last Friday continues to cast uncertainty and confusion amid weak demand.
上周五，中国产3-12毫米厚度Q235级热轧卷的报价普遍在525-527美元/吨cfr越南。中国产3毫米厚Q195热轧卷的报价也在类似水平。这些报价比6月28日低5-10美元/吨。截至6月28日的一周内，价格波动也在10美元/吨左右。
Offers for China-origin 3-12mm thickness Q235 grade HRC were prevailing last Friday at $525-527/tonne cfr Vietnam. Offers for Chinese 3mm base Q195 HRC are heard at similar levels. These offers are at $5-10/t lower than on 28 June. There was also price volatility of around $10/t during the week through 28 June.
越南北部和南部的贸易人士没有听说上周有交易发生。河内一位贸易商说：“客户相当沉默。”来自中国的再轧级50% 2毫米厚度SAE 1006热轧卷的报价为540美元/吨cfr越南，9月10日前发货，高于6月28日的535美元/吨。
Trading sources in northern and southern Vietnam do not hear of deals taking place last week. “Clients are quite silent,” a trader in Hanoi says. Rerolling grade 50% 2mm thickness SAE 1006 HRC from China is offered at $540/t cfr Vietnam, for shipment by 10 September, up from $535/t cfr on 28 June.
贸易人士称，国内生产商Hoa Phat上周三为2万吨热轧卷订单提供10美元/吨的折扣。7月1日，该公司8月和9月交货的非精整SAE1006或SS400级热轧卷的报价相当于约553美元/吨cfr越南南部，不含增值税（见Kallanish往期报道）。
Domestic producer Hoa Phat is heard to have offered a $10/t discount for HRC orders of 20,000 tonnes last Wednesday, trading sources report. Its quotes for non-skin passed SAE1006 or SS400 grade HRC, for August and September deliveries, were set on 1 July at the equivalent of around $553/t cfr southern Vietnam, excluding VAT (see Kallanish passim).
