We deeply admire her dedication to social causes in Belgium, and across the world. Through her actions, HM the Queen inspires a generation of future leaders. She is concerned with a range of social issues including education, child poverty, intergenerational poverty, the position of women in society, mental health and literacy.

Her Humanitarian work has also been recognized at the international level. On the invitation of the UN Secretary General, she has been a Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Advocate since 2016.

在比利时，玛蒂尔德王后陛下也致力于帮助我们社会中最脆弱的成员。为此，她在2001年设立了玛蒂尔德公主基金（现在的玛蒂尔德王后基金），支持帮助比利时年轻弱势群体的项目。
In Belgium, HM the Queen Mathilde also dedicates herself to assisting the most vulnerable members of our society. To do so, she established the Princess Mathilde Fund in 2001 (now the Queen Mathilde Fund), which supports initiatives that help Belgian young people.
作为母亲、公主和王后，她在过去19年的时间里不断致力于儿童权利。她的奉献精神也得到了联合国儿童基金会比利时办事处的认可，该办事处于2009年任命玛蒂尔德王后为名誉主席。
As a mother, as a princess, and as Queen, she has constantly devoted herself to children’s rights for more than nineteen years. Her dedication was also recognized by UNICEF Belgium, who appointed the Queen as Honorary President in 2009.
