前几天发了一篇文章，统计了徐星院士参与命名的恐龙属种，共计81种（马鬃山鹦鹉嘴龙是否有效存在争议）。经过几位研究者和专家的指正，漏掉了8种，分别是：赵氏敖闰龙、阳城张衡龙、五彩湾花脸角龙、奇异福井猎龙（国家自然博物馆裘锐博士补充）、完美巴彦淖尔龙（巴彦淖尔自然博物馆戴瑞明先生补充）、普安云阳龙、吐鲁番硕臂龙和赣州江西巨龙（其他来自知乎ID海模小王子），这样以来，徐星院士参与命名的恐龙属种就达到了89种。

徐星等研究院命名这89种恐龙共发表了88篇论文（其中一篇文章命名了两种恐龙），其中发表在Nature上的有19篇，命名的恐龙包括有意外北票龙、千禧中国鸟龙、赵氏小盗龙、张氏中国猎龙、燕子沟辽角龙、高氏切齿龙、顾氏小盗龙、寐龙、奇异帝龙、五彩冠龙、二连巨盗龙、胡氏耀龙、难逃泥潭龙、孔子天宇龙、郑氏晓廷龙、华丽羽王龙、奇翼龙、长臂浑元龙、奇异福建龙；发表在Science上的有1篇，命名的恐龙为灵巧简手龙；发表在PNAS上的有1篇，命名的恐龙为单指临河爪龙；发表在Nature Communications上的有2篇，命名的恐龙包括神奇灵武龙、巨脊彩虹龙。其他发表的杂志还包括PLOS ONE、古脊椎动物学报、Chinese Science Bulletin、Cretaceous Research等著名期刊。
三种恐龙登上了杂志封面，分别是顾氏小盗龙（Nature2003年）、完美巴彦淖尔龙（科学通报英文版2018年第3期）和长臂浑元龙（Nature2019年）。

在发表的命名恐龙属种的88篇论文中，52篇文章徐星排名是第一作者、通讯或者共同通讯作者，二作（不包括通讯）8篇，三作（不包括通讯）7篇。

恐龙的时空分布特征
徐星研究命名的这89种恐龙，都是侏罗纪和白垩纪的，其中侏罗纪28种，白垩纪的61种。
按照化石发现地点，徐星命名的恐龙遍布我国15个省级行政单位，还有一个在日本；其中国内的恐龙在辽宁、内蒙古和新疆研究的最多，分别命名了28种、15 种和11种。看来这三个地方是恐龙研究者的圣地，这也与恐龙化石的分布特征有关。

在研究恐龙的27年里，徐星在我国命名了88种恐龙，平均每年3.26种，按照目前命名恐龙新属种的速度，2028年有望突破100种，那么将创造一个几乎不会被打破的记录。
