The Department of Urban Planning and Design has tailored its Urban Design Studios, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, to address the complex challenges arising from China’s New-Type Urbanization process. We view urban design as an exploratory process of (re)shaping human settlements to meet evolving needs, support socio-economic development, and envision a shared future.
After an exciting semester of learning and designing across various modules, we warmly invite you to attend this semester’s final review session of our Urban Design Studios, where students will showcase their innovative ideas and designs. Following the review, a curated online exhibition will feature highlights from our five project-based modules, celebrating the creativity and hard work of our students.
Join us in marking this significant milestone and celebrating their achievements. We look forward to seeing you there!
