在《江村•经济——开弦弓村展销会》展览中，dialogical approach（对话式方法）作为实践方式之一，强调通过与村民的深度对话与互动来构建展览内容。通过这种对话，展览呈现了一种非正式、互动性的叙事结构，让每件作品都成为不同声音交织的结果，反映了乡村社会中人与人之间的深厚联系和微妙差异。
In the exhibition "Jiangcun • Economy - Kaixian Bow Village Exhibition and Sales Fair", the dialogical approach, as one of the practical methods, emphasizes the construction of exhibition content through deep dialogue and interaction with villagers. Through this dialogue, the exhibition presents an informal and interactive narrative structure, making each piece a result of interweaving different voices, reflecting the deep connections and subtle differences between people in rural society.
2024江村书架计划第二期驻地展“Dialogue” 之‘江村·经济——开弦弓村展销会’
这场以“Dialogue”为主题的活动，汇聚了来自多元背景、不同地域的参与者，共同探讨艺术如何在乡村实践中发挥作用，并借助集体创作激发社区的活力与认同。展览从开弦弓村启程，扩展至西交利物浦大学的社区花园，搭建起乡村与大学之间的互动桥梁。在这个过程中，艺术扮演了沟通与连接的媒介。
This event with the theme of "Dialogue" brought together participants from diverse backgrounds and regions to explore how art can play a role in rural practice, and to inspire community vitality and identity through collective creation. The exhibition starts from Kaixian Bow Village and extends to the community garden of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, building an interactive bridge between the countryside and the university. In this process, art plays the role of a medium for communication and connection.
新老村民们还将带来传统文化非遗熏豆茶和手作咖啡，以新与旧、东方传统和西方文化作为媒介，转换时空，细品时光的味道，回味和留下新的共同记忆。
New and old villagers will also bring traditional cultural intangible cultural heritage smoked bean tea and handmade coffee, using new and old, Eastern tradition and Western culture as media to transform time and space, savor the taste of time, reminisce and leave new shared memories.
我们将邀请到访过江村、有着对江村共同记忆的同学和老师们，和艺术家、村民一起，将从开弦村纺织工坊收集来的废料，重新利用、制作成可持续性、环保的花园装置，一同迎接即将到来的圣诞节和新年。
We will invite students and teachers who have visited Jiangcun and have shared memories of Jiangcun, as well as artists and villagers, to reuse and make sustainable and environmentally friendly garden installations from the waste collected from the Kaixian Village Textile Workshop, to welcome the upcoming Christmas and New Year together.

展览的灵感来源于费孝通《乡土中国》中的“街集”概念，强调即使在现代化的村庄中，传统的交易形式依然未曾完全消失。这一形式与过去的乡土集市相呼应，构成了村庄日常生活中不可忽视的部分。参加江村书架计划的艺术家们以及开弦弓村的村民代表将带来他们参加江村书架计划第二期驻地艺术家工作坊的成果，和大家分享。
The inspiration for the exhibition comes from the concept of "street gathering" in Fei Xiaotong's "Rural China", emphasizing that even in modern villages, traditional forms of transactions have not completely disappeared. This form echoes the traditional rural market and constitutes an indispensable part of daily life in the village. Artists participating in the Jiangcun Bookshelf Program and village representatives from Kaixian Gong Village will bring their achievements from the second resident artist workshop of the Jiangcun Bookshelf Program to share with everyone.

什么是马扎椅？
What is a Mazza chair?
马扎椅不仅是北方传统的坐具，也是民众生活中的常见物品。将这些马扎椅通过废旧纺织品或毛衫厂的废料以及渔网线进行改造，赋予它们新的生命。这些马扎椅将由开弦弓村的村民亲手编织和制作，通过村民的参与，通过集体协作，村民不仅在制作过程中得以体验曾经的传统手工艺，还能在日常生活中使用这些“纪念碑”，在日复一日的村民日常生活中通过艺术的表现形式向陈杏荪及其推动的纺织业改革致敬。
The Mazza chair is not only a traditional seating fixture in the north, but also a common item in people's daily lives. Transform these Mazza chairs with waste from textile or sweater factories, as well as fishing nets, to give them new life. These Maza chairs will be hand woven and made by the villagers of Kaixian Gong Village. Through the participation of the villagers and collective cooperation, they will not only experience traditional handicrafts during the production process, but also use these "monuments" in their daily lives to pay tribute to Chen Xingsun and the textile industry reform he promoted through artistic expression.

What is the "Walk Across Jiangcun" interactive device?
“走遍江村——跳房子”是江村娃娃赵宇轩创作的互动装置。10月20日，我们将赵宇轩和家人请到西交利物浦大学，并将他创作的走遍江村跳房子复制到了EB工科楼的社区花园。
Traveling Across Jiangcun - Hopscotch "is an interactive installation created by Jiangcun Doll Zhao Yuxuan. On October 20th, we invited Zhao Yuxuan and his family to Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, and copied his creation of "Hopscotch Across Jiangcun" into the community garden of EB Engineering Building.

其中数字26代表着费孝通先生二十六访江村。中间的船代表着费老最早几次到访村是坐船来的，因为那时道路还不是很发达。上部的鱼代表着家乡的鳑鮍鱼和长条鱼。拉弓搭箭是意喻着为开弦弓村今后的发展做铺垫，离弦之箭意喻着未来开弦弓村成为吴江区有名的地方。
The number 26 represents Mr. Fei Xiaotong's visit to Jiangcun. The boat in the middle represents that Fei Lao's earliest visits to the village were by boat, as the roads were not very developed at that time. The upper fish represents the catfish and long fish from my hometown. Pulling a bow and setting up arrows signifies laying the groundwork for the future development of Kaixian Gong Village, while leaving the bow and arrow signifies that Kaixian Gong Village will become a famous place in Wujiang District in the future.

贵州民族大学和西交利物浦大学响应国家号召，基于国家级社会实践一流课程《乡村振兴实践——城乡规划专题综合训练》，于2023年7月17-30日在苏州、贵阳两地开展“乡村振兴联合工作营”。7月17日上午，在七都镇开弦弓村（江村）开启了工作营。
Guizhou University for Nationalities and Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University responded to the national call and launched the "Rural Revitalization Joint Work Camp" in Suzhou and Guiyang from July 17-30, 2023, based on the national level social practice first-class course "Rural Revitalization Practice - Comprehensive Training on Urban and Rural Planning". On the morning of July 17th, a work camp was launched in Kaixian Gong Village (Jiang Village) in Qidu Town.

Dr. Kon Kim, Assistant Professor of Urban Planning and Design at the School of Design, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, shared his lecture on "The 'Leaving' and 'Living' of Young Talents in Chinese Cities" at the third community salon event held at the Jiangcun Resident Center.

Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and Xi'an Jiaotong University jointly held the "Practice of Rural Revitalization Guided by Red Education" event in Suzhou and Shaanxi from July 15-28, 2024. On the morning of July 16th, the teacher and student team first visited the Fei Xiaotong Memorial Hall located in Kaixian Gong Village, Qidu Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou City.

西交利物浦大学 “空间规划与乡村振兴暑期工作营”在责任导师、城市规划与设计系副教授王学峰博士的带领下，先后对苏州市吴中区临湖镇灵湖村和吴江区七都镇开弦弓村（江村）进行了驻村调研。
Under the leadership of Dr. Wang Xuefeng, the responsible supervisor and associate professor of the Department of Urban Planning and Design, the "Summer Work Camp for Spatial Planning and Rural Revitalization" at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University conducted on-site research in Linghu Village, Linhu Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou City, and Kaixiangong Village (Jiang Village), Qidu Town, Wujiang District.

7月25日，城市规划与设计系副教授常莹博士应邀参加了“江村艺术驻地工作室”启用仪式和“乡村艺术家驻地”讨论会环节，与会人员共聚一堂，围绕艺术驻地之于乡村的意义、艺术驻地赋能乡村振兴、艺术驻地带动社群发展等话题，进行了热烈交流。
On July 25th, Dr. Chang Ying, Associate Professor of the Department of Urban Planning and Design, was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the "Jiangcun Art Residency Studio" and the discussion session of the "Rural Artist Residency". The attendees gathered together and had lively exchanges on topics such as the significance of art residency in rural areas, the empowerment of rural revitalization by art residency, and the promotion of community development by art residency.

“江村书架计划”艺术家驻地创作8月驻村艺术家梁子驻村创作主题是“一个人的旅行”。8月24日下午，城市规划与设计系研究生二年级学生胡宏辰、黎菁应邀参加了艺术家发起的“饭桌上的旅行”沙龙活动。创作者为大家准备了来自不同国家和地区的菜肴，带领大家参观他收藏的世界民族服装，讲述服装背后的故事，还有社群小伙伴小能收藏的古着服装。
The theme of the August resident artist Liang Zi's creation for the "Jiangcun Bookshelf Plan" artist residency is "One Person's Travel". On the afternoon of August 24th, Hu Hongchen and Li Jing, second year graduate students in the Department of Urban Planning and Design, were invited to participate in the "Travel at the Table" salon event initiated by the artist. The creator has prepared dishes from different countries and regions for everyone, leading them to visit his collection of world ethnic costumes, telling the stories behind the costumes, as well as ancient clothing collected by community members.

10月17日，城市规划专业研究生一年级在开弦弓村参观并就如何在江村建设青年人的社群进行了现场头脑风暴和展示。
On October 17th, a first-year graduate student majoring in urban planning visited Kaixian Gong Village and conducted on-site brainstorming and demonstration on how to build a community for young people in Jiang Village.
10月20日,参加西交利物浦大学社区花园2024年参与行动工作坊，赵宇轩同学带来了“走遍江村”跳房子，为花园增添了人地互动的乐趣。
On October 20th, Zhao Yuxuan participated in the 2024 Participation Action Workshop for the Community Garden of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. He brought the "Walking Across Jiangcun" Hopscotch and added fun to the interaction between people and the environment to the garden.
10月23日，江村Club参加社区花园工作坊，为大家奉上特色咖啡、传统熏豆茶以及本草茶。
On October 23rd, Jiangcun Club participated in a community garden workshop and presented specialty coffee, traditional smoked bean tea, and herbal tea to everyone.

西浦社区花园有什么特别？
What is special for XJTLU Community Garden?
西交利物浦大学社区花园位于西交利物浦大学苏州工业园区校区北校区工科楼三楼。是2021年秋天开始由设计学院的同学和老师们一起营造和维护的。落日花园这个名字也是由同学们一起投票决定的。
The Community Garden of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University is located on the third floor of the Engineering Building in the North Campus of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Suzhou Industrial Park Campus. It was created and maintained by students and teachers from the Design School starting from the autumn of 2021. The name Sunset Garden was also decided by the students through a joint vote.
花园最初是通过《邻里规划》的课程作业，
城市规划与设计系的同学们利用校园废弃的木托板设计并制作了花箱。
The garden was initially created through coursework in Neighbourhood Planning,
Students from the Department of Urban Planning and Design designed and made flower boxes using abandoned wooden pallets on campus.
西浦落日花园一共有十二个功能区。是西交利物浦大学绿色可持续校园的示范点之一。
XJTLU Sunset Garden has a total of twelve functional areas. It is one of the demonstration sites for the green and sustainable campus of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.
